The memory of Mary should never be absent in the life of a Christian; she is the mother of Jesus and our mother. To pray the rosary means to continue in us the meditation made by Mary, as the Gospel reminds us, on the events of Jesus' life and hers. At the same time, we greet her and invoke her.

Strive to contemplate with love, serenity and reflection the main salvific events of Christ's life, from the virginal conception to the culminating moments of his passion, death and resurrection, seeing them through the heart of the one who was closest to him.

In praying the rosary, try to combine the contemplation of the mysteries with a filial attitude, praise in

the passing of the Hail Marys, the adoration in the glorias, the admiration and impetration in the litanies, so that all of it exudes confidence and love for Mary.

I. The Rosary in private

Opening prayer

In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

My Lord, Jesus Christ, true God and true man. My Creator and my Redeemer, because you are who you are, and because I love you above all things, I am heartily sorry for having offended you. I will and firmly propose to confess in due time. I offer my life, works and labors in satisfaction for my sins. And I trust in your goodness and infinite mercy that you will forgive them and give me the grace not to offend you again. Amen.

Some personal intention is formulated.

Eduardo Robles Gil, in his letter of March 12, 2015, informed us that during the Jubilee year for the 75th anniversary of the foundation we would live with special devotion the Solemnities of Christ the King and Pentecost. For this reason we share the text of the Pentecost novena that can serve to pray in the communities, families or teams of the Movement, and thus prepare with singular devotion for the coming of the Holy Spirit.

plantamos semillas que un día crecerán;

In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Oración a Jesucristo

O Jesus, King and Lord of the Church: I renew in your presence my unconditional adherence to your Vicar on earth, the Pope. In him you have willed to show us the sure and certain path to follow in the midst of disorientation, restlessness and uneasiness. I firmly believe that through him you govern, teach and sanctify us, and under his staff we form the true Church: one, holy, catholic and apostolic. Grant me the grace to love, live and propagate his teachings as a faithful son. Guard his life, enlighten his intelligence, strengthen his spirit, defend him from slander and evil. Calm the erosive winds of infidelity and disobedience, and grant that, around him, your Church may remain united, firm in believing and acting, and thus be the instrument of your redemption. So be it.

The Angelus

Prayers to thank the Lord for the gift of communion.

During the silence following communion, if it helps to thank the Lord for the gift received, one of the following prayers may be recited:

Prayer to Jesus crucified

Look at me, O my beloved and good Jesus, prostrate at the feet of your divine presence. I beg and beseech You with great fervor of my soul, deign to engrave in my heart very lively sentiments of faith, hope and charity, sincere repentance of my sins and firm resolution never to offend You again. While I, with all the love and sorrow of which I am capable, consider and meditate on your five wounds, keeping in mind that which the holy prophet David said of you, O my God: «They have drilled my hands and my feet, and all my bones can be counted.».

Soul of Christ

Soul of Christ, sanctify me.
Body of Christ, save me.
Blood of Christ, embryo me.
Water from the side of Christ, wash me.
Passion of Christ, confess me.
O good Jesus, hear me.
Within your wounds, hide me.
Let me not be separated from you.
From the evil enemy, defend me.
At the hour of my death, call me.
And command me to come to you, that with your saints I may praise and bless you forever and ever. Amen.

Prayer to the Father

I thank you, Lord, almighty Father, for all your benefits and especially because you have willed to admit me to share in the most sacred Body of your divine Son.

I beseech Thee, O most clement Father, that this holy communion be for me neither a snare nor an occasion of punishment, but a salutary intercession for forgiveness; be the armor of my faith, the shield of my good will, the death of all my vices, the extermination of all my carnal appetites and the increase of charity, patience, true humility and of all the virtues; be perfect peace of my body and spirit, a firm defense against all my visible and invisible enemies, perpetual union with You alone, my true God and Lord, and the happy seal of my blessed death.

And I beg you to take me, a sinner, to that ineffable banquet, where you, with your Son and the Holy Spirit, are for your saints true light, fulfilled satisfaction, enduring joy, complete bliss.
and perfect happiness. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Prayer of Pope Clement XI

I believe in you, Lord, but help me to believe firmly; I hope in you, but help me to hope without distrust; I love you, Lord, but help me to show you that I love you; I am sorry, but help me not to offend you again.

I adore you, Lord, because you are my creator and I long for you because you are my end; I praise you, because you never tire of doing me good and I take refuge in you, because you are my protector.

May your wisdom, O Lord, direct me and your justice restrain me; may your mercy comfort me and your power defend me.

I offer you, Lord, my thoughts, help me to think of you; I offer you my words, help me to speak of you; I offer you my works, help me to do your will; I offer you my sorrows, help me to suffer for you.

All that you want, Lord, I want, precisely because you want it, as you want it and for as long as you want it.

I ask you, Lord, to enlighten my understanding, strengthen my will, purify my heart and sanctify my spirit.

Lord, make me weep for my sins, reject temptations, overcome my evil inclinations and cultivate the virtues.

Give me your grace, Lord, to love you and forget myself, to seek the good of my neighbor without being afraid of the world.

Give me your grace to be obedient to my superiors, understanding to my inferiors, solicitous to my friends and generous to my enemies.

Help me, Lord, to overcome pleasure with austerity, greed with generosity, anger with kindness, lukewarmness with fervor.

May I know how to be prudent, Lord, in giving advice, courage in dangers, patience in difficulties, simplicity in successes.

Grant me, Lord, attention in praying, sobriety in eating, responsibility in my work and firmness in my resolutions.

Help me to preserve purity of soul, to be modest in my attitudes, exemplary in my dealings with my neighbor and truly Christian in my conduct.

Grant me your help to master my instincts, to foster in me your life of grace, to fulfill your commandments and obtain my salvation.

Teach me, Lord, to understand the smallness of the earthly, the greatness of the divine, the brevity of this life and the eternity to come.

Grant me, O Lord, a good preparation for death and a holy fear of judgment, that I may be delivered from hell and obtain your glory.

Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Offering

Take, O Lord, and receive all my liberty, my memory, my understanding, and all my will, all my goods and possessions. You gave it to me; to you, Lord, I turn it. All is yours. Dispose of me according to your will. Give me your love and grace, for this is enough for me.

Prayer to Christ the King

O Christ Jesus, I acknowledge you as universal King. All that exists has been created by you. Exercise over me all your rights. I renew my baptismal promises, renouncing Satan, his seductions and his works, and I promise to live as a good Christian. In particular, I commit myself to make triumph, according to my means, the rights of God and of your Church.

Jesus Christ, I offer you my poor actions to obtain that all hearts recognize and live your message of peace, justice and love.

Spouses' prayer

Lord, Holy Father, omnipotent and eternal God, we thank you and bless your holy Name: you have created man and woman so that one may be for the other help and support. Remember us this day. Protect us and grant that our love may be a gift and a gift, in the image of Christ and of the Church. Enlighten and strengthen us in the task of forming our children, so that they may be authentic Christians and hard-working builders of the earthly city. Grant that we may live together for a long time, in joy and peace, so that our hearts may always raise to you, through your Son in the Holy Spirit, praise and thanksgiving. Amen.

Marriage Anniversary Prayer

O God, Lord of the universe, who at the beginning created man and woman and instituted the conjugal bond; bless and confirm our love, that we may always express in our lives the sacrament we celebrate in faith. Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Prayer for children

Lord, enlighten the minds of our children so that they may know the way you have willed for them, so that they may give glory to you and attain salvation. Sustain them with your strength, so that they may encourage in their lives the ideals of your Kingdom. Enlighten us too, their parents, so that we may help them to recognize their Christian vocation and to fulfill it generously, collaborating with your interior inspirations. Amen.

Prayer of children for their parents

O God, who hast commanded us to honor father and mother, graciously hear the prayer we address to thee for them. Grant them long days of life on earth, and preserve them in health of body and spirit. Bless their labors and their endeavors. Reward them for all they have done for me. Inspire them to love and practice your holy law. Help me to do all that I can for them. And grant that after having enjoyed their affection on earth, I may have the joy of living eternally with them in heaven. Amen.

Prayer while waiting for a child

O Lord, our Father, we thank you for the marvelous gift by which you make us sharers in your divine fatherhood. In this time of waiting, we ask you: protect this child of ours, still full of mystery, so that he may be born healthy to the light of the world and to the new birth of baptism. Mother of God, to your maternal heart we entrust our son. Amen.

Prayer for the vocation of children

Lord, I ask you for the vocations of my sons, that whatever vocation you have determined for each one of them, they may obtain the grace to discover and accept it according to your will, and docilely and generously give themselves to it, faithfully fulfilling the duties that it imposes on them. And if in your infinite goodness you wish to call them to your service, form for me, Lord, a generous and willing heart that appreciates in its fullness the incomparable gift of the priestly vocation and the consecrated life. Give me, Lord, the joy and humility to recognize and be grateful for such a fruitful blessing. Amen.

Prayer of the bride and groom

In my heart, Lord, love has been kindled for a creature whom you know and love. You yourself have made me meet her and presented her to me. I thank you for this gift which fills me with profound joy, makes me like you, who are love, and makes me understand the value of the life you have given me. Teach me that love is a gift and that it cannot be mixed with any selfishness; that love is pure and that it cannot remain in any baseness; that love is fruitful and that from today it must produce a new way of living in both of us. I pray to you, Lord, for the one who waits for me and thinks of me; for the one who has placed all his trust in me for his future; for the one who walks beside me; make us worthy of each other; may we be a help and a model. Help us in our preparation for marriage, its greatness, its responsibility, so that from now on our souls may dominate our bodies and lead them in love. Amen.

Prayer for the sick

You willed, O Lord, that your only-begotten Son should bear our infirmities, to show the value of sickness and patience; hear now the prayers we address to you for our sick brothers and sisters, and grant to all those who are subject to pain, affliction or sickness, the grace to feel themselves chosen among those whom your Son has called blessed, and to know that they are united to the passion of Christ for the redemption of the world. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Prayer for the suffering

O God, provident refuge of those who suffer; hear the prayer we address to you for them. Be still and comfort the sick, the aged and the dying. Give to those who care for them wisdom and patience, tact and compassion. Inspire them with gestures that bring relief, words that enlighten and love that comforts. We commend to you the hearts discouraged, in rebellion, torn by temptation, tormented by passion, wounded or profaned by the wickedness of men. Put within us, Lord, your Spirit of love, of compassion, of sacrifice, so that we may bring effective help to all those whom we meet on our way suffering. Help us to respond to their call: it is yours. Amen.

Prayer in the difficulties of life

Lord, grant that we may face with a strong and serene spirit the difficulties, obligations and responsibilities that we have and, consoled by you, may we know how to comfort our brothers and sisters. Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Prayer to ask for the grace of the good death

O God, who created us in your image and gave your Son to die for us, grant us the grace to live vigilantly in prayer, so that we may leave this world without sin and rest with joy in the bosom of your mercy. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Prayer for the deceased

Lord, remember your son (daughter) N, Grant that, as he has already shared in the death of Jesus Christ, he may also share with him in the glory of the resurrection, when Christ will raise the dead from the earth and transform our frail body into a glorious body like yours. Through the same Christ our Lord.
