The memory of Mary should never be absent in the life of a Christian; she is the mother of Jesus and our mother. To pray the rosary means to continue in us the meditation made by Mary, as the Gospel reminds us, on the events of Jesus' life and hers. At the same time, we greet her and invoke her.

Strive to contemplate with love, serenity and reflection the main salvific events of Christ's life, from the virginal conception to the culminating moments of his passion, death and resurrection, seeing them through the heart of the one who was closest to him.

In praying the rosary, try to combine the contemplation of the mysteries with a filial attitude, praise in

the passing of the Hail Marys, the adoration in the glorias, the admiration and impetration in the litanies, so that all of it exudes confidence and love for Mary.

De vez en cuando, dar un paso atrás nos ayuda

El Reino no sólo está más allá de nuestros esfuerzos,

Ninguna oración puede expresar plenamente nuestra fe.

Ninguna confesión trae la perfección, ninguna visita pastoral trae la integridad.

Ningún programa realiza la misión de la Iglesia.

En ningún esquema de metas y objetivos se incluye todo.

Esto es lo que intentamos hacer:

plantamos semillas que un día crecerán;

regamos semillas ya plantadas,

sabiendo que son promesa de futuro.

Sentamos bases que necesitarán un mayor desarrollo.

Los efectos de la levadura que proporcionamos

van más allá de nuestras posibilidades.

No podemos hacerlo todo y, al darnos cuenta de ello, sentimos una cierta liberación.

Ella nos capacita a hacer algo, y a hacerlo muy bien.

Oración a la Santísima Trinidad

Prayer of the bride and groom

In my heart, Lord, love has been kindled for a creature whom you know and love. You yourself have made me meet her and presented her to me. I thank you for this gift which fills me with profound joy, makes me like you, who are love, and makes me understand the value of the life you have given me. Teach me that love is a gift and that it cannot be mixed with any selfishness; that love is pure and that it cannot remain in any baseness; that love is fruitful and that from today it must produce a new way of living in both of us. I pray to you, Lord, for the one who waits for me and thinks of me; for the one who has placed all his trust in me for his future; for the one who walks beside me; make us worthy of each other; may we be a help and a model. Help us in our preparation for marriage, its greatness, its responsibility, so that from now on our souls may dominate our bodies and lead them in love. Amen.

Prayer for the sick

You willed, O Lord, that your only-begotten Son should bear our infirmities, to show the value of sickness and patience; hear now the prayers we address to you for our sick brothers and sisters, and grant to all those who are subject to pain, affliction or sickness, the grace to feel themselves chosen among those whom your Son has called blessed, and to know that they are united to the passion of Christ for the redemption of the world. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Prayer for the suffering

O God, provident refuge of those who suffer; hear the prayer we address to you for them. Be still and comfort the sick, the aged and the dying. Give to those who care for them wisdom and patience, tact and compassion. Inspire them with gestures that bring relief, words that enlighten and love that comforts. We commend to you the hearts discouraged, in rebellion, torn by temptation, tormented by passion, wounded or profaned by the wickedness of men. Put within us, Lord, your Spirit of love, of compassion, of sacrifice, so that we may bring effective help to all those whom we meet on our way suffering. Help us to respond to their call: it is yours. Amen.

Prayer in the difficulties of life

Lord, grant that we may face with a strong and serene spirit the difficulties, obligations and responsibilities that we have and, consoled by you, may we know how to comfort our brothers and sisters. Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Prayer to ask for the grace of the good death

O God, who created us in your image and gave your Son to die for us, grant us the grace to live vigilantly in prayer, so that we may leave this world without sin and rest with joy in the bosom of your mercy. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Prayer for the deceased

Lord, remember your son (daughter) N, Grant that, as he has already shared in the death of Jesus Christ, he may also share with him in the glory of the resurrection, when Christ will raise the dead from the earth and transform our frail body into a glorious body like yours.
