En aquel tiempo, Jes\u00fas dijo a sus disc\u00edpulos: “Cuando venga el Hijo del hombre, rodeado de su gloria, acompa\u00f1ado de todos sus \u00e1ngeles, se sentar\u00e1 en su trono de gloria. Entonces ser\u00e1n congregadas ante \u00e9l todas las naciones, y \u00e9l apartar\u00e1 a los unos de los otros, como aparta el pastor a las ovejas de los cabritos, y pondr\u00e1 a las ovejas a su derecha y a los cabritos a su izquierda. Entonces dir\u00e1 el rey a los de su derecha: “Vengan, benditos de mi Padre; tomen posesi\u00f3n del Reino preparado para ustedes desde la creaci\u00f3n del mundo; porque estuve hambriento y me dieron de comer, sediento y me dieron de beber, era forastero y me hospedaron, estuve desnudo y me vistieron, enfermo y me visitaron, encarcelado y fueron a verme”. Los justos le contestar\u00e1n entonces: “Se\u00f1or, \u00bfcu\u00e1ndo te vimos hambriento y te dimos de comer, sediento y te dimos de beber? \u00bfCu\u00e1ndo te vimos de forastero y te hospedamos, o desnudo y te vestimos? \u00bfCu\u00e1ndo te vimos enfermo o encarcelado y te fuimos a ver?” Y el rey les dir\u00e1: “Yo les aseguro que, cuando lo hicieron con el m\u00e1s insignificante de mis hermanos, conmigo lo hicieron”. Entonces dir\u00e1 tambi\u00e9n a los de la izquierda: “Ap\u00e1rtense de m\u00ed, malditos; vayan al fuego eterno, preparado para el diablo y sus \u00e1ngeles; porque estuve hambriento y no me dieron de comer, sediento y no me dieron de beber, era forastero y no me hospedaron, estuve desnudo y no me vistieron, enfermo y encarcelado y no me visitaron”. Entonces ellos le responder\u00e1n: “Se\u00f1or, \u00bfcu\u00e1ndo te vimos hambriento o sediento, de forastero o desnudo, enfermo o encarcelado y no te asistimos?” Y \u00e9l les replicar\u00e1: “Yo les aseguro que, cuando no lo hicieron con uno de aquellos m\u00e1s insignificantes, tampoco lo hicieron conmigo”. Entonces ir\u00e1n \u00e9stos al castigo eterno y los justos a la vida eterna”.<\/p>\n

Meditate on what God tells you in the Gospel<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

El amor es m\u00e1s concreto de lo que muchas veces pensamos. No es un amor abstracto; un amor “plat\u00f3nico”. El amor tiene manifestaciones muy concretas.<\/p>\n

Esto nos suele pasar cuando hablamos del amor a Dios. Un amor que se puede dar en las ideas o en las ganas de amar pero que no va a m\u00e1s.<\/p>\n

Jes\u00fas se muestra, se deja amar y, muchas veces, no nos damos cuenta; lo pasamos por alto. Dios es tan sencillo\u2026 pero al ser Dios no s\u00e9 porqu\u00e9 siempre pensamos que es m\u00e1s complicado.<\/p>\n

Se deja amar en el pobre, en el hambriento\u2026, en el enfermo. Aunque esto sigue siendo muy abstracto. Mejor a\u00fan, se deja amar en la necesidad que tiene la persona que est\u00e1 a tu lado, en la enfermedad que est\u00e1 pasando tu amigo, en el miembro de tu familia que puede paracer estar perfectamente pero que por dentro\u2026, digamos que las cosas no le van muy bien.<\/p>\n

Jes\u00fas, cuando habl\u00f3 del amor, no lo hizo con las palabras sino que lo hizo con toda su vida\u2026, con todos sus actos.<\/p>\n

El amor de Dios es un amor muy concreto\u2026muy real. Amor al cual siempre nos invita a participar. Es cuesti\u00f3n de abrir los ojos y decidirnos a amar.<\/p>\n

\u00abOfrecer un don grato a Jes\u00fas es cuidar a un enfermo, dedicarle tiempo a una persona dif\u00edcil, ayudar a alguien que no nos resulta interesante, ofrecer el perd\u00f3n a quien nos ha ofendido. Son dones gratuitos, no pueden faltar en la vida cristiana. De lo contrario, nos recuerda Jes\u00fas, si amamos a los que nos aman, hacemos como los paganos. Miremos nuestras manos, a menudo vac\u00edas de amor, y tratemos de pensar hoy en un don gratuito, sin nada a cambio, que podamos ofrecer. Ser\u00e1 agradable al Se\u00f1or. Y pid\u00e1mosle a \u00e9l: “Se\u00f1or, haz que descubra de nuevo la alegr\u00eda de dar”\u00bb.<\/em>
