\nFrom the Holy Gospel according to John 14:6-14<\/p>\n

At that time, Jesus said to Thomas: \u201cI am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you know me, you know my Father. You know him already and have seen him\u201d. Philip said to him, \u201cLord, show us the Father, and that is enough for us. But Jesus said to him, \u201dPhilip, I have been with you so long, and yet you do not know me? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father, so why do you say, \u2018Show us the Father,\u2019 or do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I say to you, I do not say on my own. It is the Father, who abides in me, who does the works. Believe me: I am in the Father and the Father is in me. Meditate on what God tells you in the Gospel<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

How many years have we been with Christ and we still do not know him? Many times we want, like the disciples, to see and know God clearly. Lord, show us the Father and that is enough for us\u201c today we would say: \u201dLord, send me a sign... that I may see you, etc.\". It can happen to us that, after a while, we get used to it, that our faith gradually fades. That is why on this day the liturgy invites us to pause for a moment to measure our faith.<\/p>\n

The knowledge of Christ implies in us faith, which is what gives meaning to the Christian life. The faith that drives us to go forward, to trust and not to be afraid. \u201cFaith is the strength of the Christian\u201d, it is what allows him to walk in his life without stopping. Just as it makes no sense to have a car without gasoline, it makes no sense to be a \u201cCatholic\u201d without faith. Faith has no limits, it is only necessary to believe.<\/p>\n

But yes, true faith is not only professed with the mouth, but also with life. Faith is beautiful when it is lived. Today we need Catholics who transmit the faith with their lives, giving witness to the love of God. Let us know Christ in prayer, so that we can then transmit him to others with our lives.<\/p>\n

\u00abIt is Jesus himself who tells us that he is the way: I am the way, the truth and the life. Everything. I give you life, I manifest myself as truth and if you come with me, I am the way. So, in order to know the one who presents himself as the way, the truth and the life, it is necessary to set out \u201con the way\u201d. In fact, the knowledge of Jesus is the most important work of our life. Also because by knowing him we come to know the Father\u00bb.<\/em>
