Disp\u00f3n mi coraz\u00f3n para contemplar tu nacimiento.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>Gospel of the day<\/strong><\/span> <em>(to guide your meditation)<br \/>\n<\/em>From the Holy Gospel according to Luke 1, 67-79<\/p>\n<p>En aquel tiempo, Zacar\u00edas, padre de Juan, lleno del Esp\u00edritu Santo, profetiz\u00f3 diciendo: &#8220;Bendito sea el Se\u00f1or, Dios de Israel, porque ha visitado y redimido a su pueblo, y ha hecho surgir en favor nuestro un poderoso Salvador en la casa de David, su siervo. As\u00ed lo hab\u00eda anunciado desde antiguo, por boca de sus santos profetas: que nos salvar\u00eda de nuestros enemigos y de las manos de todos los que nos aborrecen, para mostrar su misericordia a nuestros padres y acordarse de su santa alianza. El Se\u00f1or jur\u00f3 a nuestro padre Abraham concedernos que, libres ya de nuestros enemigos, lo sirvamos sin temor, en santidad y justicia delante de \u00c9l, todos los d\u00edas de nuestra vida. Adem\u00e1s, \u00bfes que alguien puede de verdad \u00abelegir\u00bb venir?<\/p>\n<p>Asumiendo que alguien pudiese, lo cual me resulta incre\u00edble -\u00bfqui\u00e9n podr\u00eda hacerlo?, \u00bfy qui\u00e9n ser\u00eda ese alguien?, \u00bfDios\u2026?<\/p>\n<p>Tantas cosas a la vez para esta pobre inteligencia\u2026 a veces me pregunto siquiera si se puede creer que \u00c9l exista. Pero bien\u2026 digamos que existe, \u00bfpodr\u00eda creer que \u00c9l hubiese venido aqu\u00ed?, \u00bfa este mundo tan pobre, tan falible, tan -nada? Y todav\u00eda m\u00e1s dif\u00edcil: creer que se hizo hombre, que se hizo carne, cuerpo, pielecita, beb\u00e9, l\u00e1grimas, fr\u00edo y que cupo en las manos de una ni\u00f1a de un peque\u00f1o pueblo hebreo\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Necesitar\u00eda algo m\u00e1s que locura para creer algo as\u00ed. No s\u00e9 c\u00f3mo explicarlo, no lo s\u00e9. Y aunque no s\u00e9 c\u00f3mo, digamos que por alguna raz\u00f3n acepto el hecho: \u00bfpor qu\u00e9 nacer aqu\u00ed?, \u00bfpor qu\u00e9 querer venir?, \u00bfpor qu\u00e9 visitar este mundo?, \u00bfpor qu\u00e9 el deseo de ser uno de nosotros? Somos tan fr\u00e1giles\u2026 hay tanto mal y tanto que no es como deber\u00eda ser\u2026 \u00bfpor qu\u00e9 fijarse en nosotros? Y se fijara en m\u00ed ese Dios, \u00bfpor qu\u00e9 lo har\u00eda?<\/p>\n<p>S\u00f3lo un don me har\u00eda capaz de recibir este misterio. No es ciencia. No es locura. No es teor\u00eda. No es del todo racional, ni del todo irracional. No es obscuridad absoluta, tampoco claridad total. Es sencillamente un regalo.<\/p>\n<p>Creer que alguien me mir\u00f3, se fij\u00f3 en m\u00ed, sufri\u00f3 por m\u00ed -porque me am\u00f3, es una verdad que se encarna en experiencia, es una verdad regalo que se puede acoger. Es una verdad que sacudir\u00eda mi coraz\u00f3n, hasta tal punto que me har\u00eda feliz.<\/p>\n<p>Quiso venir Dios al mundo, quiso nacer aqu\u00ed, quiso venir a m\u00ed.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00abYou can certainly recognize the presence of God: he has not left you alone. Even in the midst of tremendous difficulties, we could say with today's Gospel that the Lord has visited his people: he has remembered their fidelity to the Gospel, the first fruits of their faith, all those who have borne witness, even at the cost of blood, that the love of God is worth more than life. How good it is to remember with gratitude that the Christian faith has become the breath of their people and the heart of their memory. Faith is also the hope for their future, the light on the path of life\u00bb.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>(Homily of H.H.
