For many young people, this year of dedication has been a before and after in their life journey.<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Isabela Maria Valente <\/span>Toniol<\/span> - From Brasilia to S\u00e3o Paulo<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

I felt that what I was doing in my locality was not enough; I wanted to do more, to give more, to know more. And I see the collaboration as an incredible opportunity to spend a year getting to know new people, places, apostolates and realities of the world. <\/span>R<\/span>egnum<\/span> C<\/span>hristi\u00bb<\/span><\/span><\/em>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Isabela stands out <\/span>this year<\/span> as a time of personal, spiritual and human growth, where each challenge brings with it the possibility of self-knowledge and the learning of new skills. Antonio, a native of Culiac\u00e1n, Sinaloa, lived his experience as a collaborator in Valencia.<\/span>,<\/span> Spain<\/span>,<\/span> d<\/span>e<\/span> 2023<\/span> . <\/span>2024. \u00ab<\/span>I was not at all familiar with what a collaborator did, but it was clear to me that it was a service done for Christ towards others, and that it would therefore be worthwhile<\/span>\u00bb<\/span><\/span><\/em>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

He<\/span> highlights divers<\/span>i<\/span>s <\/span>moments he remembers well in his year of <\/span>collaborate<\/span>dor<\/span>from working in sections <\/span>of j<\/span>oung people and the EC<\/span>Y<\/span>D, to the work of <\/span>training<\/span> and organization of activities in schools. An episode <\/span>very <\/span>memorable <\/span>for him <\/span>was his participation in the apostolate <\/span>\u00ab<\/span><\/span>Christ of the street<\/span><\/span><\/a>\u00bb<\/span>, where, by handing out coats during the winter, <\/span>was able to make the experience of<\/span> servi<\/span>r<\/span> to those most in need. That experience not only strengthened his faith, but also taught him that every small act, no matter how simple it may seem, is part of the <\/span>call of Christ<\/span> to serve others.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00ab<\/span>In this case we distributed coats that we collected because it was winter and it was already very cold in the city. Although we did collect quite a lot, there came a point when we ran out of all the coats we had collected. <\/span>we had,<\/span> But I saw how some people were going to be left with nothing so I gave the one I was wearing. I remember wearing <\/span>more than one<\/span> coat on top and some gloves <\/span>\u2013 <\/span>I am<\/span> very cold<\/span> \u2013<\/span> and I ended up giving my all, and that's why I was so cold on the way home at night that I felt so cold I could feel up to my knees. <\/span>bones,<\/span> but no more than the pleasure of having given myself. Marcelo Rodriguez Lara - From Saltillo to Mexico City and <\/span>m<\/span>More <\/span>.<\/span>.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Marcelo, 24 years old and from Saltillo, Coahuila, found in the figure of the collaborator a <\/span>reply<\/span> . <\/span>a concern that <\/span>had<\/span> since high school. \u00ab<\/span>What motivated me was to see all the good that a collaborator can do; it was like a responsible <\/span>of equipment <\/span>all the time, focused on his section and his team.<\/span>\u00bb<\/span><\/span><\/em>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

During his year <\/span>collaborator <\/span>at <\/span>the west of the <\/span>C<\/span>Mexico City<\/span> and in various educational institutions, Marcelo dedicated himself to <\/span>train young people<\/span> and organize apostolates. <\/span>A very special experience <\/span>significant <\/span>was<\/span> the organization of virtual missions during the pandemic, where creativity and commitment made it possible to continue offering spaces for meeting and prayer, demonstrating that faith adapts to any circumstance.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00ab<\/span>During the pandemic, when it seemed that I no longer had much to do as a collaborator because it was very difficult to keep in touch with people, during Easter week we were able to put together a new team. I will always remember that experience<\/span>:<\/span> \u00a1<\/span>in times of pandemic, we did the missions <\/span>virtual <\/span>&<\/span>, of these missions,<\/span> we form a new team<\/span> from <\/span>Regnum<\/span> Christi!\u00bb<\/span><\/span><\/em>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

For Marcelo, a<\/span>nce you become a collaborator <\/span>your<\/span> relationship with God was more sudden, from <\/span>\u201c<\/span>sometimes yes, sometimes no<\/span>\u201d<\/span>. Surrounded by collaborators <\/span>d<\/span>the <\/span>Regnum<\/span> Christi, Ana Clara decided to take on the challenge with a mixture of trepidation and hope.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00ab<\/span>Afraid of wasting my time, I used the famous phrase: <\/span>\u201c<\/span>it's only one year, it's not going to <\/span>tear down<\/span>\u201d<\/span>. And really, I don't <\/span>derrumb<\/span>\u00f3. I lived in an extraordinary way in the ordinariness of collaboration!<\/span>\u00bb<\/span><\/span><\/em>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Ana Clara shares how working in <\/span>the<\/span> C<\/span>olegio <\/span>Oakhill<\/span> of Buenos Aires, Argentina, <\/span>and in apostolates for young university students and professionals.<\/span>ista<\/span>s allowed him to reconnect and discover the beauty of daily service. <\/span>Become a collaborator <\/span>l<\/span>a made<\/span> value<\/span>n<\/span> community life, the importance of daily prayer and the deep sense of belonging to a greater mission, where every small gesture becomes a reflection of God's love.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00ab<\/span>I understand that now the pace of life is different and I need to adapt, but I will never forget the experience I had meeting with <\/span>Jesus<\/span>. You may be afraid, but don't let it stop you from acting from your heart. You may think it will affect your future, that your friends will no longer recognize you or that your family will never support you.... <\/span>it's not true, it's just <\/span>be surprised<\/span>!\u00bb<\/span><\/span><\/em>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
