In this<\/span> Lent<\/span> and approaching Easter<\/span>, the General Board of Directors <\/span>has <\/span><\/span>sent a letter<\/span><\/span><\/a> to all missionaries who are preparing for the missions of<\/span> evangelization. <\/span>E<\/span>he message is an invitation to live this liturgical season as an opportunity to announce <\/span>and live <\/span>the <\/span>hope with<\/span> a heart willing to serve.<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

The letter part <\/span>dicie<\/span>stating that \u00ab<\/span><\/span>our world today needs witnesses who announce with their lives that Christ has suffered, died and risen, transforming reality and the hearts of those who encounter him\u00bb.<\/span><\/span> And that <\/span><\/span>being missionaries of hope implies assuming some commitments<\/span> how to bring hope where it is most needed, renewing our hope<\/span> &<\/span> witnessing hope in the world<\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In the context of the Jubilee of Hope, <\/span>the message from the Board of Trustees <\/span>General <\/span>anno<\/span>. <\/span>which is <\/span><\/span>through<\/span>he apostolate of<\/span> Youth and Missionary Family where<\/span> to<\/span> seeks to respond to Christ's command: <\/span><\/span>\u00ab<\/span>Go and make disciples of all nations<\/span>\u00bb<\/span><\/span><\/em> (Mt 28:19).<\/span> Where \u00abevery encounter, every conversation and every gesture of service is an opportunity for hope to be reborn in those who have lost faith or feel alienated from the Church\u00bb.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

L<\/span>.<\/span>s<\/span> misi<\/span>i<\/span>o<\/span>is<\/span> of evangelization<\/span> is not limited<\/span>o<\/span> to the days of Easter<\/span>;<\/span> but <\/span>rather <\/span>is<\/span> a lifestyle. <\/span>\u00ab<\/span><\/span>Being missionaries of hope is a daily commitment, a way of life, a call that invites us to bring the light of Christ to our family, to our work and to our community,\u00bb the letter states.<\/span><\/span>. It is a matter of living with an attentive eye for others, with the disposition of one who has encountered Christ and wants to share him not only with words, but also with works and presence.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The message<\/span> concludes with a<\/span>by invitation<\/span>: <\/span>to go out \u00ab<\/span><\/span>with confidence, with your eyes fixed on Christ and your heart ready to serve\u00bb, because \u00abwherever you go, He is already waiting for you and is walking with you\u00bb.\u00bb<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

About J<\/span>Youth and<\/span> Family <\/span>M<\/span>isionera<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Evangelization missions are, above all, an experience of encountering Christ in the face of others, especially in those who live alone and in those who live in the midst of the world. <\/span>o<\/span>e<\/span>cessed. This is the experience that for more than four decades thousands of young people and families have been living through the apostolate of <\/span><\/span>Mission Youth<\/span><\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The origin of these missions<\/span><\/span> \u00a0dates back to 1981, when <\/span>a group of young people <\/span>from <\/span>Regnum<\/span> Christi organized for the first time a Holy Week mission in Mexico. That first experience not only touched the lives of those who were missioned, but positively transformed those who went out on mission. What began as a small local initiative became the birth of an evangelizing apostolate that today extends throughout Mexico. <\/span>24<\/span> countries<\/span> and has moved some 50,000 missionaries, according to the international Missionary Youth and Family website, <\/span>uniting people of all ages who wish to share their faith in a simple, close and committed way.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

C<\/span>ike every year, the missions are an invitation to everyone<\/span>,<\/span> u<\/span>n opportunity to renew faith through action, to discover God in others, and to let the Gospel become news again in real life.<\/span><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
