What does it mean to live the faith in the midst of today's world? How can an international lay community rediscover its identity and renew its mission? These were some of the questions <\/span>present in <\/span>the meeting <\/span>\u00ab<\/span>We<\/span> Are <\/span>Sent<\/span>\u00bb(We are sent) <\/span>from <\/span>about<\/span> 60 members of the <\/span>Regnum<\/span> Christi from Western and Central Europe, who met in Krakow, Poland, to discuss the<\/span> (Poland)<\/span> from May 30 to May 1<\/span>\u00b0<\/span> June 2025. During three days of prayer, formation and personal testimonies, the participants sought to rekindle the fire of their Christian vocation in an atmosphere marked by spirituality and fraternity.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

The event took place at the John Paul II Center. <\/span>\u00ab<\/span>Do not be afraid!<\/span>\u00bb<\/span>, a <\/span>site <\/span>of missionary inspiration, ideal for a meeting focused on identity, contemplation, evangelization and mission.<\/span> of the laity<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Contemplation and roots<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Friday was <\/span>oriented<\/span> to contemplation. <\/span>The day began<\/span> with a lecture by P<\/span>.<\/span> Eduardo Robles Gil, L<\/span>.<\/span>C<\/span>.<\/span>, who highlighted the role of the <\/span>Regnum<\/span> Christi as <\/span>\u00ab<\/span>a living part of the Body of Christ, called to fruitfulness in communion<\/span>\u00bb<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Several testimonials <\/span>corroborated<\/span> e<\/span>this idea. Andrea <\/span>Heck<\/span>, from Germany, shared how his identity in Christ is not based on achievement, but on belonging. <\/span>\u00c1gnes<\/span> Koll\u00e1r<\/span>, from Hungary, recounted his journey in discovering his place within the <\/span>Regnum<\/span> Christi family<\/span> and in God's plan.<\/span><\/p>\n

The<\/span> titled workshop<\/span>i <\/span><\/span>\u00ab<\/span>Rediscovering first love in the <\/span>Regnum<\/span> Christi family<\/span>\u00bb<\/span><\/span> was oriented to the <\/span>vocation<\/span>\u00f3<\/span>o<\/span> of the layman<\/span> to holiness<\/span>, a<\/span>lgo that was carried out at<\/span> through small group discussions.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

For l<\/span>a late <\/span>moved to the<\/span> Sanctuary of the Divine Mercy. There, they prayed the Chaplet in several languages, participated in Mass in the Chapel of St. Faustina and listened to the prayer of a sister of the Congregation of Our Lady of Mercy. The day closed with a Eucharistic adoration led by Fr.<\/span>.<\/span> Klaus <\/span>Einsle<\/span>, L<\/span>.<\/span>C<\/span>.<\/span>, He invited everyone to open their hearts to the mercy of Christ.<\/span><\/p>\n

Evangelization from everyday life<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

On Saturday, attention turned to the apostolic mission. <\/span>\u00ab<\/span>No fruit without roots<\/span>\u00bb<\/span>, <\/span>indicated at .<\/span>or the P<\/span>.<\/span> Klaus<\/span> at the beginning of the day, stressing that all evangelizing action requires a deep connection with Christ.<\/span><\/p>\n

Among the highlights<\/span> of that day<\/span>, P, the P<\/span>.<\/span> Mark <\/span>Thelen<\/span>, L<\/span>.<\/span>C<\/span>.<\/span>, presented <\/span>the nascent initiative<\/span> <\/span>\u00ab<\/span>Campus <\/span>m<\/span>isionero <\/span>e<\/span>uropean<\/span>\u00bb<\/span><\/span>, a<\/span> apostolic project<\/span> of evangelization <\/span>for lay professionals in Europe<\/span>. Later, Katarzyna <\/span>Warcha\u0142<\/span>, <\/span>from<\/span> IKEA, shared his experience of living his faith in the working world, giving testimony of the <\/span>E<\/span>vangelio not only with words, but also with attitudes and decisions.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In an open-format workshop, participants freely chose the topics to be discussed and formed dynamic groups, encouraging a sincere and collaborative dialogue, beyond <\/span>the <\/span>barriers <\/span>from <\/span>idiom<\/span>.<\/span> or cultural.<\/span><\/p>\n

One of the testimonials <\/span>that marked the day<\/span> was that of the flute player <\/span>Mihi<\/span> Kim, who explained how he has consecrated his art to God: <\/span>\u00ab<\/span>My music belongs to you<\/span>\u00bb<\/span>.<\/span> The day<\/span> culminated with the prayer <\/span>of the Rosary before <\/span>the Eucharist<\/span> and a visit to the House of the Apostles in the <\/span>Regnum<\/span> Christi in Krakow.<\/span><\/p>\n

A community sent<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

On Sunday, the meeting concluded with the celebration of Mass at the John Paul II Shrine. E<\/span>Eduardo Robles Gil, L.C., L.C., e<\/span>n his homily, he recalled that the <\/span>Regnum<\/span> Christi is called to be a place of encounter, where Christ can reach out to others.<\/span>.<\/span>s <\/span>people <\/span>through the testimony of those who follow him.<\/span><\/p>\n

When saying goodbye <\/span>Grzegorz<\/span> Cempla<\/span>, from Poland,<\/span> after those days lived in community, <\/span>summed up the spirit of the weekend with<\/span>:<\/span> \u00ab<\/span>If we want to set hearts on fire, our own hearts must first burn.<\/span>\u00bb<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

A renewal for the mission<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

More than a meeting, the weekend in Krakow was a renewal. An opportunity for the laity of the <\/span>Regnum<\/span> Christi to reconnect with their vocation and strengthen their commitment to the Christian mission in their family, work, volunteer work and community.<\/span> Krakow 2025 remains<\/span> now<\/span> in the memory of <\/span>lo<\/span>s participated as a moment of grace and communion<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n
