Ilse Garc\u00eda S\u00e1nchez, co<\/span>n a decade of experience <\/span>working in the administrative area of the company.<\/span>educational bras<\/span> from <\/span>Regnum<\/span> Christi family<\/span>, <\/span>had the opportunity to live <\/span>the<\/span> Jubilee of the <\/span>J<\/span>\u00f3<\/span>vene<\/span>s <\/span>in Rome<\/span>.<\/span> It was<\/span> a journey that transformed her <\/span>deeply<\/span>. <\/span>Your <\/span>shared experience<\/span> reflects c<\/span>\u00f3<\/span>The Jubilee became a platform for young people around the world to recognize themselves as agents of change.<\/span>l<\/span> change, driven<\/span>s<\/span> by faith and <\/span>by <\/span>the desire to <\/span>be hope for <\/span>society.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

A call for hope<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Youth Jubilee <\/span>was <\/span>more <\/span>that<\/span> a religious event; it is the result of a call that was made to <\/span>the youth d<\/span>the world, <\/span>powered<\/span> at the invitation of<\/span>l Pope <\/span>Francisco<\/span> and today carried forward by Pope Leo XIV<\/span>.<\/span> This event <\/span>has <\/span>form<\/span>do<\/span> part of the Jubilee Year<\/span> that<\/span>,<\/span> like <\/span>I<\/span>glesia<\/span>,<\/span> v<\/span>ivimos<\/span> during 2025 under the slogan <\/span>\u00ab<\/span>P<\/span>eregrinos de <\/span>E<\/span>speranza<\/span>\u00bb<\/span> for a<\/span> spiritual renewal. <\/span>The celebration <\/span>for young people had<\/span> site<\/span> from July 28 to August 3 in Rome, Italy.<\/span><\/p>\n

One of the young women who was able to live this experience was Ilse Garc\u00eda, a collaborator in the administrative area of the educational works of<\/span>l<\/span> Regnum<\/span> Christi family<\/span> of Mexico<\/span>. <\/span>More than a <\/span>decision of <\/span>join this massive gathering<\/span>, Ilse considers <\/span>which was <\/span>like <\/span>a call from God to which <\/span>decided to respond.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00ab<\/span>I decided to bet on this invitation<\/span> despite the uncertainty that surrounded me. <\/span>Throughout this year, <\/span>I was moved by the feeling of hope.<\/span>, <\/span>because I felt it so much<\/span> in my life, as well as in my profession, my family and my <\/span>at <\/span>all the things I do. <\/span>I had no choice but to <\/span>say<\/span> that <\/span>yes to the Lord<\/span>\u00bb<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

After<\/span> months of preparation<\/span>, <\/span>it was finally time to <\/span>embark on the journey to Rome<\/span>. Your <\/span>experience <\/span>was<\/span> marked by coexistence <\/span>with various religious congregations, each bringing its own charism and spirituality. <\/span>The community <\/span>f<\/span>The Franciscan community welcomed her with faith-filled activities, while <\/span>with <\/span>the <\/span>j<\/span>esuitas <\/span>was able to experience spaces for prayer and reflection.<\/span> Next to the <\/span>Regnum<\/span> Christi, Ilse <\/span>joined<\/span> .<\/span> and holy hours that were offered during the year. <\/span>the<\/span> week<\/span>, <\/span>what it made her feel<\/span>to<\/span> in the family.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00ab<\/span>It was amazing to be part of the activities of the <\/span>Re<\/span>gnum<\/span> Christi family <\/span>together with my coworkers, <\/span><\/span>c<\/span>onsagradas<\/span><\/span><\/a>, <\/span><\/span>laity c<\/span>onsacred<\/span><\/span><\/a> & <\/span><\/span>legionnaires<\/span><\/span><\/a>. <\/span>A<\/span> although <\/span>also <\/span>there was <\/span>other <\/span>people from <\/span>other<\/span> parts of the world that I did not know, <\/span>it felt like being at home. <\/span>Being in community with the <\/span>Regnum<\/span> Christi family <\/span>was a gift<\/span>\u00bb<\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

There are no barriers to faith<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

As this is a large-scale event, more than <\/span>a<\/span> one million young people from 146 different countries came to Rome to live the Jubilee<\/span> those days<\/span>. <\/span>Ilse mentions that <\/span>being a part of this transformed his<\/span> vision of faith<\/span> and its spiritual experience<\/span> by immersing oneself in all cultures<\/span>, <\/span>feeling accompanied in everything <\/span>moment. It is<\/span> therefore <\/span>that<\/span>, For her, the word that best defines this experience is <\/span>\u00ab<\/span>accompany<\/span>\u00bb<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00ab<\/span>I firmly believe that God always sustains us and accompanies us at all times, but in this experience <\/span>with an extraordinary strength, difficult to describe<\/span>. <\/span>Walking this road with so many people made me realize that you never walk alone, but that the Lord is always there.<\/span>\u00bb<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Together with Regnum Christi, Ilse joined in the evenings and Eucharistic hours offered during the week, which made her feel at home.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

In addition to being able to feel God's presence in her and others, she emphasizes that something she really appreciated was to see how the culture, emotion and faith of each country was reflected in the various events: <\/span>\u00ab<\/span>I got to see Brazil doing their beautiful praises accompanied with drums and dances. I could see people from Africa with their colorful clothes celebrating with much fervor, as well as the impeccable solemnity of the French bowing to God.<\/span>\u00bb<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

This internationality was reflected in every <\/span>moment<\/span> of the Jub<\/span>ileum<\/span>, where it was able to <\/span>witness<\/span> how<\/span> faith truly transcends borders<\/span> e <\/span>languages. <\/span>In fact, Ilse mentions that the attendees exchanged images, stamps and badges from their countries: <\/span>\u00ab<\/span>Most of them carried images of the Virgin of their country or holy cards of saints. In my case, <\/span>I took little chains of the Virgin of Guadalupe to exchange with others. It was something very special<\/span>\u00bb<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

It also gave him the opportunity to <\/span>open their hearts to new ways of understanding and living spirituality, and this is just a reminder that, although our cultures are different, the desire to connect with the divine is a powerful reminder that, although our cultures are different, the desire to connect with the divine <\/span>o<\/span>os <\/span>unites everyone.<\/span><\/p>\n

The departure of Pope Francis left a void in those young people who had the desire to meet him, since it was he who invited them to participate in this Jubilee Year.<\/span> However, one of the most eagerly awaited moments for Ilse <\/span>was<\/span> meet the new Pope<\/span> and witness the message I wanted to convey to them.<\/span><\/p>\n

For Ilse, one of the most important moments was seeing and hearing Pope Leo XIV address the young people at the Jubilee.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

\u00ab<\/span>Lo<\/span> that resonated a lot <\/span>with me<\/span> was <\/span>the <\/span>humility<\/span> & <\/span>the<\/span> simplicity<\/span> of Pope Leo XIV<\/span>,<\/span> for it was something that<\/span> we embraced a lot of Francisco<\/span>. <\/span>We realized<\/span> that <\/span>Le\u00f3n has maintained<\/span>, for it had <\/span>all the touch<\/span> and affection<\/span> at <\/span>talk to us at<\/span>,<\/span> always taking as <\/span>inspiration<\/span> at<\/span> Pope Francis<\/span>. <\/span>\u201cC<\/span>s Francis told them\u201d.\u201d<\/span> was a sentence <\/span>very <\/span>common<\/span> in its <\/span>speeches<\/span>, <\/span>considering<\/span> the achievements<\/span> from<\/span> his papacy<\/span> and respecting what was in our hearts<\/span>\u00bb<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ilse adds<\/span> that <\/span>another surprise<\/span> that <\/span>was taken by listening to the<\/span> Papa <\/span>is that <\/span>visit<\/span> very <\/span>well what's in <\/span>the mind and in <\/span>the <\/span>heart<\/span> from <\/span>youth<\/span>:<\/span> \u00ab<\/span>I remember that he took a <\/span>time to quote<\/span> to St. Augustine in speaking of friendship<\/span> and the <\/span>taking of <\/span>decisions<\/span>\u00bb<\/span>, <\/span>share<\/span>. <\/span>\u00ab<\/span>Feed<\/span> that many young people today are not fortunate enough to feel welcomed by their families. <\/span>family members<\/span>, and, therefore<\/span> their friendships have been <\/span>turned into<\/span> their families.<\/span> I found it very touching that <\/span>the Pope will speak about the importance of knowing how to make decisions <\/span>about <\/span>q<\/span>who your friends are and the way in which they <\/span>we must<\/span> care<\/span> . <\/span>our<\/span> friendships<\/span>\u00bb<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

On another occasion, <\/span>Pope Leo XIV <\/span>spoke about <\/span>fear <\/span>and how <\/span>is <\/span>that this emotion affects<\/span> to young people<\/span>.<\/span> Ilse <\/span>comments<\/span> that fear is a constant; however, <\/span>accepts<\/span> that is<\/span>to emotion <\/span>refusal <\/span>acted as an engine <\/span>for the generations of our parents and grandparents.<\/span> \u00ab<\/span>At<\/span> our <\/span>generation, <\/span>fear <\/span>paralyzes us<\/span>\u00bb<\/span>, admits Ilse.<\/span> \u00ab<\/span>The Pope's words were<\/span> comforting because it recognized that<\/span> fear<\/span> that we feel collectively<\/span>, making us feel understood<\/span>\u00bb<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Then <\/span>to recognize <\/span>this sentiment that distresses young people, the Pope <\/span>invited them to be brave<\/span>: <\/span>\u00ab<\/span>He told us<\/span> \u201c<\/span>May fear be no more than a noise; may it not stop, may it not paralyze<\/span>\u201d<\/span>\u00bb<\/span>, <\/span>he adds.<\/span> Lion <\/span>made a request <\/span>particular <\/span>to answer what is in <\/span>the<\/span> inside, letting it be that which resonates <\/span>and thus overcome fear.<\/span><\/p>\n

Attitude and openness: how to say yes to the Lord<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Prior to the closing of this great trip, Ilse took a moment to reflect on what she had been doing in the past. <\/span>entails accepting an invitation <\/span>as the Jubilee<\/span>. <\/span>From <\/span>make a budget for the trip, <\/span>. <\/span>all the <\/span>responsibilities<\/span> of everyday life <\/span>before <\/span>travel to the destination, <\/span>follow a route<\/span> & <\/span>be prepared <\/span>. <\/span>adapt <\/span>to the circumstances that may arise.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00ab<\/span>To all the people who would like to live an experience like this, I encourage you to respond to the invitation that God is making to you. If you are giving God a yes, you will see how things will be accommodated and strengthened so that everything will be adjusted to this experience. He will always be with you, He will give you the resources and provide the means. Nothing compares to the invitation that the Lord makes to you; you will be able to accept it with great fear, but at the same time with a lot of faith.<\/span>\u00bb<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Likewise, <\/span>share <\/span>that <\/span>no need to go to another country <\/span>for <\/span>to live an experience like this<\/span>: <\/span>\u00ab<\/span>An experience <\/span>to connect with God is sought from within<\/span>. What I lived there I have also lived here, in my communities, with my groups, with the diocese. At the end of the day, you can find something as rewarding in your city, even in our offices or particularly in our work.<\/span>\u00bb<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Also<\/span> points out the relevance of maintaining an open and humble attitude to participate in this type of experience, <\/span>whether in our community or<\/span> in another country. <\/span>This is something<\/span> extremely important<\/span>, since it<\/span> is <\/span>that the message <\/span>that God sends through his <\/span>faithful <\/span>resonate <\/span>in accordance with<\/span> what each of us needs to hear at that moment:<\/span> \u00ab<\/span>The Lord speaks and shouts everywhere, so I invite you to always have openness in your hearts and listen to God's will. Every day he invites us to tell him <\/span><\/span>yes Sir<\/span><\/span>\u00bb<\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Apprenticeships <\/span>& <\/span>other lessons<\/span> from <\/span>life<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Upon reflection <\/span>on the most significant moments of this Jubilee<\/span>, Ilse <\/span>highlights the lessons learned that it considers <\/span>fundamental <\/span>for their personal development. <\/span>This being a very significant experience, she <\/span>is committed to<\/span> integrate all this learning into your life and share it with your family and friends. <\/span>the people around her.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00ab<\/span>N<\/span>or it can't stay in me alone, I have to share it with others.<\/span>s. H<\/span>emos<\/span> forgotten to see ourselves as brothers and sisters, as a society, as a family<\/span>, <\/span>but<\/span> we must <\/span>to be hope for others<\/span>. <\/span>The Lord<\/span> invites us to take action<\/span> always considering the common good. N<\/span>asks you to be hope<\/span> & <\/span>I believe that <\/span>that comes from feeling that we are truly loved by God<\/span>\u00bb<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

For her it is very clear that <\/span>to take action means to follow the example of Jesus every day: <\/span>\u00ab<\/span>God calls us to be consistent. You cannot separate one reality from the other, in the sense that you cannot be a person who boasts of being spiritual or religious and treat others badly. As a Catholic, you will not live in anything other than being honest, supportive, fraternal, loving... because that is the foundation of your existence.<\/span>\u00bb<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Finally, <\/span>Ilse <\/span>you want to spread the message <\/span>Pope Leo XIV expressed <\/span>on courage<\/span>. <\/span>\u00ab<\/span>To be brave is to understand <\/span>this quality <\/span>from your daily life, from your reality, from your community, from your existence, from your calling.<\/span>. But n<\/span>or is it courage <\/span>with me<\/span> same<\/span>, own or individual<\/span>, but <\/span>the courage <\/span>in God<\/span>, because d<\/span>his hand we can do everything<\/span>\u00bb<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n
