How has an apostolate been consolidated over the past twenty-five years in the service of the <\/span>bishops, <\/span>What impact has it had on the spiritual and pastoral life of the dioceses it accompanies? The <\/span><\/span>Logos Priestly Center<\/span><\/span><\/a>, d apostolate, apostolate d<\/span>irrigated by the <\/span><\/span>Legionaries of Christ<\/span><\/span><\/a> and with <\/span>the <\/span>valuable support from members and friends of the <\/span>Regnum<\/span> Christi, celebrates <\/span>25 years<\/span> from<\/span> a<\/span> uninterrupted mission and <\/span>with<\/span> a deep commitment to the integral formation of the clergy.<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

From its origins, this apostolate emerged as a response to <\/span>to support bishops in the formation and training of bishops.<\/span> fortalec<\/span>imiento<\/span> from <\/span>the spiritual life of diocesan priests through retreats and spiritual exercises. Under the initial impulse of Fr. <\/span>Grealy<\/span>, Miguel Romeo, L.C., began to organize meetings for the clergy of Mexico and Central America. Soon after, the work took shape thanks to the vision of Fr. Miguel Romeo, L.C. (<\/span>who died in <\/span>2007), <\/span>giving<\/span> structure to the <\/span>apostolad<\/span>i <\/span>taking it to<\/span> to become a <\/span>point<\/span> with programs such as spiritual exercises, spiritual exercises<\/span>,<\/span> Hispanidad courses for priests who are<\/span>irven<\/span> . <\/span>the <\/span>Spanish-speaking believers in the United States.<\/span><\/p>\n

The heart of the apostolate: mission and vision<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Logos Priestly Center is defined as a space at the service of the bishops in the field of the ongoing formation of the clergy and the integral formation of seminarians. Its mission is clear: to collaborate with the dioceses by offering specific programs of initial and ongoing formation in all the dimensions of priestly life.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Logos' vision rests on fundamental pillars: the personal holiness of the priest, integral human development, intellectual leadership, pastoral solidarity and professional excellence. This identity is not only a conceptual framework, but a lived reality in every retreat, course and program offered.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Among the Center's patrons <\/span>Priestly <\/span>are St. Rafael Gu\u00edzar y Valencia, a Mexican bishop canonized in 2006 and patron of Mexican bishops, and St. John Mary Vianney, universal patron of parish priests. These saints represent the cultural closeness and universality of the priestly vocation, inspiring the participants of the programs. <\/span>pastoral <\/span>to live their calling with dedication and fidelity.<\/span><\/p>\n

Programs and comprehensive training<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Logos Priestly Center is developing a diversified<\/span>id<\/span>.<\/span>d<\/span> of programs that respond to the spiritual, intellectual and pastoral needs of <\/span>the <\/span>priests and seminarians. At the national level, the spiritual exercises that each year bring together priests and seminarians in different dioceses of Mexico and Central America, as well as the one-day retreats that provide brief but intense spaces for prayer and renewal, stand out. In addition, there are ongoing formation weeks for the clergy, which offer conferences and workshops with specialists, and diploma courses and courses designed for priests and their pastoral teams. These initiatives are complemented by the publication of the magazine <\/span><\/span>Priests<\/span><\/span><\/a>, a <\/span>medi<\/span>o of updating and spiritual accompaniment.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Center's work <\/span>Priestly <\/span>is not limited to the local level. It also promotes programs<\/span> and studies<\/span> international character that have given prestige to its mission. Among them, <\/span>supports the dissemination of<\/span>e studies of the <\/span><\/span>Pontifical International College Maria Mater <\/span>Ecclesiae<\/span><\/span><\/a>, in Rome, intended for seminarians from<\/span>iocesans around the world<\/span>, y <\/span>d<\/span>the <\/span><\/span>Pontifical Athenaeum Regina <\/span>Apostolorum<\/span><\/span><\/a>, where priests and seminarians study philosophy, theology, bioethics and religious sciences. In addition to these, there are specific proposals such as the <\/span><\/span>International Course for Seminar Trainers<\/span><\/span><\/a>, which has become a point of reference for those who accompany the life of future priests, and the <\/span><\/span>Exorcism and Deliverance Prayer Course<\/span><\/span><\/a>, directed by <\/span>especially <\/span>to priests appointed by their bishops for this delicate ministry<\/span> organized by the Pontifical Athenaeum<\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In addition, the Center <\/span>Priestly <\/span>promotes unique experiences of spiritual renewal in emblematic places for the Catholic faith. Among them is the <\/span><\/span>Priestly Renewal Course in Jerusalem<\/span><\/span><\/a>, The program is offered in winter and summer editions, allowing priests to deepen their vocation from the very land where Christ lived and preached.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Father Rodrigo Guadarrama, from the Diocese of Atlacomulco, Mexico.<\/span> (Mexico)<\/span>, with more than 52 years of ministry, has participated in the spiritual exercises organized by Logos in Amecameca. He recognizes that perseverance in his vocation has been strengthened by a life of prayer and the constant support of<\/span>l<\/span> Regnum<\/span> Christi. His diocese, moreover, has been one of the most benefited by the Center's work.<\/span> Priestly<\/span>, especially in the ongoing formation of its presbyterate.<\/span> and with the evangelization missions of <\/span><\/span>Mission Youth<\/span><\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Leonardo Martinez, from the Diocese of Teotihuacan, said<\/span> (Mexico)<\/span>, He emphasizes how the spiritual exercises and the closeness of the apostolate have sustained him in the trials and joys of his ministry. His experience reflects the importance of having spaces for spiritual renewal and priestly fraternity.<\/span><\/p>\n

Recent activities: a service to the dioceses<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

During the month of July 2025, the Center will <\/span>Priestly <\/span>He led spiritual exercises for a group of fifteen priests from the diocese of Yucat\u00e1n who shared between twenty and twenty-five years of ministry, which strengthened the priestly fraternity among fellow priests of the same generation. On the same dates, a series of spiritual exercises were also held for one hundred and fifty priests from the diocese of Cuernavaca, a meeting which was attended by its bishop, Monsignor Ram\u00f3n Castro, who wanted to live the experience together with his entire presbyterate.<\/span><\/p>\n

Collaboration with the dioceses was not limited to these meetings. For the third consecutive year, the presbyterate of the diocese of Cuautitl\u00e1n entrusted its spiritual exercises to Logos, which organized two batches at the Santa Mar\u00eda de la Cascada Center in Amecameca, a privileged retreat space at the foot of the Iztacc\u00edhuatl volcano. Likewise, in February 2025, about fifty-three priests from the diocese of Tuxtepec, accompanied by their bishop, <\/span>M<\/span>ons<\/span>.<\/span> Jos\u00e9 Alberto Gonz\u00e1lez, participated in the spiritual exercises held at the Casa <\/span>The church of Veracruz, a favorable place for its climate and environment for prayer and recollection.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition to these spiritual encounters, the Center <\/span>Logos Priestly <\/span>also promoted academic activities of great value for the intellectual formation of the clergy and the consecrated life. Among them were the courses given in July by the presbyter Ignacio <\/span>Andereggen<\/span>, D. in Philosophy and Theology, who offered priests, deacons, religious and consecrated laity two programs: one on psychology and spirituality for contemplation, and the other on psychology and moral theology. These initiatives, aimed at different ecclesial sectors, reflect Logos' conviction that integral formation requires both the interior life and the strengthening of the human and academic dimensions of ministry.<\/span><\/p>\n
