Gospel:<\/span><\/strong> Mt 5,38-48
\n<\/em>Ustedes han o\u00eddo que se dijo: “Ojo por ojo y diente por diente”.\u00a0Pero yo les digo que no hagan frente al que les hace mal: al contrario, si alguien te da una bofetada en la mejilla derecha, pres\u00e9ntale tambi\u00e9n la otra. Al que quiere hacerte un juicio para quitarte la t\u00fanica, d\u00e9jale tambi\u00e9n el manto; y si te exige que lo acompa\u00f1es un kil\u00f3metro, camina dos con \u00e9l. Da al que te pide, y no le vuelvas la espalda al que quiere pedirte algo prestado.\u00a0Ustedes han o\u00eddo que se dijo: “Amar\u00e1s a tu pr\u00f3jimo” y odiar\u00e1s a tu enemigo. Pero yo les digo: Amen a sus enemigos, rueguen por sus perseguidores; as\u00ed ser\u00e1n hijos del Padre que est\u00e1 en el cielo, porque \u00e9l hace salir el sol sobre malos y buenos y hace caer la lluvia sobre justos e injustos. Si ustedes aman solamente a quienes los aman, \u00bfqu\u00e9 recompensa merecen? \u00bfNo hacen lo mismo los publicanos? Y si saludan solamente a sus hermanos, \u00bfqu\u00e9 hacen de extraordinario? \u00bfNo hacen lo mismo los paganos? Por lo tanto, sean perfectos como es perfecto el Padre que est\u00e1 en el cielo.<\/p>\n

Fruit:<\/span><\/strong> Trabajar en la magnanimidad personal desterrando toda intenci\u00f3n del ojo por ojo.<\/p>\n

Guidelines for reflection:
\n<\/span><\/strong>Cristo lanza un reto para todos: humildad, perd\u00f3n sincero, amar sin medida. La reconciliaci\u00f3n es un tema que toca las fibras del coraz\u00f3n. \u00bfC\u00f3mo no perdonar o pedir perd\u00f3n cuando Cristo, el Hijo de Dios, muri\u00f3 para reconciliarnos con el Padre? Hagamos hoy un examen de conciencia para ver c\u00f3mo podemos vivir nuestra vida cristiana sin permitir que la m\u00ednima sombra de rencor se asome en nosotros.<\/p>\n

1. No hagan frente al que les hace mal
\n<\/em>Parecer\u00eda que Cristo nos pide una resignaci\u00f3n negativa ante injusticias, atropellos o ante el mal mismo. Pero no es as\u00ed, ese “no hacer frente al que les hace mal” llega a las ra\u00edces m\u00e1s profundas del coraz\u00f3n diciendo tambi\u00e9n: no permitas que tu coraz\u00f3n quiera responder mal con mal, m\u00e1s bien que tu coraz\u00f3n siempre est\u00e9 dispuesto a realizar el bien. Vencer el mal con el bien. El mal tiene un l\u00edmite y ese l\u00edmite se lo impone el bien. En nuestra sociedad muchas personas pactan con el mal, lo podemos ver en las calles, en las casas, en el trabajo y lamentablemente caemos en la tentaci\u00f3n de hacer como que no lo vemos. Y Cristo nos dice que es todo lo contrario, si vemos que algo est\u00e1 mal, respondamos haciendo el bien. “No hacer frente” tambi\u00e9n quiere decir: no te desquites. Si alguien te hace da\u00f1o, no le respondas haci\u00e9ndole da\u00f1o. \u00c1malo, pide por \u00e9l, si tienes la oportunidad hazle el bien sin que se d\u00e9 cuenta. Esto no tiene que ver con buscar la justicia y la verdad. Estamos hablando de una actitud del coraz\u00f3n inicial, fundamental. Por supuesto que ante las injusticias hay que hacer todo lo que est\u00e1 de nuestra parte para buscar la justicia.<\/p>\n

2. Amen a sus enemigos<\/em>
\nEsta m\u00e1xima es dura para los o\u00eddos. Ante un mundo lleno de sensibilidades y de opiniones tan variadas, lo que menos se valora es el amor a los enemigos, al contrario. Familias enteras se destruyen cuando un hermano se pelea con otro, rencillas familiares, etc. Amistades se destruyen por rencores o malentendidos, incluso por traiciones. Pero, \u00bfes acaso justicia devolver mal con mal? No. El amor y la justicia van de la mano. la caridad y la verdad se abrazan. Si Cristo nos dice que amemos a nuestros enemigos, no lo dice para mortificarnos sino para trascender a una de nuestras limitaciones muy humanas: el rencor, el odio que todo lo destruye. \u00bfY por qu\u00e9 surgen enemistades? Quiz\u00e1 porque no se acudi\u00f3 a tiempo para ofrecer una disculpa, o para aclarar alguna situaci\u00f3n. Tambi\u00e9n puede ser que en un lugar de trabajo, las maneras de ser choquen y ocasionen fricciones. Aqu\u00ed la sensibilidad puede agrandar las cosas tambi\u00e9n. Pretender que a todos les vamos a caer bien es ilusorio, precisamente porque es ah\u00ed donde surgen las oportunidades de ejercitarse en el amor aut\u00e9ntico.<\/p>\n

3. Sean perfectos, como es perfecto el Padre que est\u00e1 en el cielo
\n<\/em>Esto no quiere decir “no cometan errores”. Perfecci\u00f3n humana no es sin\u00f3nimo de no equivocarse, al contrario, se puede ser perfecto aprendiendo de las equivocaciones. Dios es perfecto, y nosotros somos perfectos en la medida en que nos asemejamos a Dios en el amor, en la verdad. Busquemos, pues, esa perfecci\u00f3n que significa amar, amar desinteresadamente, amar a toda costa, amar m\u00e1s, amar mejor.<\/p>\n
