The Church is already preparing for <\/span>the <\/span><\/span>World Youth Day (WYD) in Seoul<\/span><\/span><\/a>. An invitation to p<\/span>eregrinar a<\/span>l<\/span> East in 2027, <\/span>with<\/span> spiritual and ecclesial significance look at<\/span>ndo<\/span> toward new frontiers of dialogue and mission. The choice of Seoul as the venue for the next J<\/span>MJ<\/span> not only marks a geographical change, but also an opportunity to deepen the universality of the faith, embrace diverse cultures and recognize the vitality of the Catholic communities in Asia. In this context, thousands of young people from all over the world are beginning to wonder how they will live this unique experience in a country marked by the dynamism, history and witness of so many martyrs. What implications will this great gathering have for the Church on pilgrimage in the 21st century? How will the <\/span>Regnum<\/span> Christi to respond with enthusiasm and missionary spirit to this call of the Holy Father?<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

In Korea, where Catholics account for 11% of the total<\/span> % of the population, the Church is distinguished by a dynamism that is expressed in pastoral initiatives, mission and an impressive legacy of martyrs whose light continues to inspire the world. This vitality paves the way for welcoming hundreds of thousands of young people who will gather in 2027.<\/span> for WYD<\/span>.<\/span> E<\/span>l <\/span>Regnum<\/span> Christi initiates <\/span>also a<\/span> preparation process. The Life and Mission Area has already begun to organize the participation of the <\/span>for the<\/span> WYD Seoul 2027<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

A<\/span>ccurrently <\/span>is counted <\/span>with the presence of four <\/span><\/span>l<\/span>egionaries of Christ<\/span><\/span><\/a> in Korea, whose pastoral work has been key to keeping the local mission alive. Thanks to their work, the<\/span>os<\/span> groups <\/span>from <\/span>R<\/span>egnum<\/span> C<\/span>hristi<\/span> in Korea lives<\/span>o<\/span> with illusion and enthusiasm the possibility of welcoming young people from all over the world.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In this context, the <\/span>H.<\/span> <\/span>Sanggu<\/span> Kang, L.C.<\/span><\/span>,<\/span> Korean religious studying in Rome,<\/span> shares a perspective that illuminates <\/span>a little<\/span> the spiritual identity of the country:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00abThe <\/span>Regnum<\/span> Christi came to Korea thanks to the invitation of Cardinal Emeritus Nicholas <\/span>Cheong<\/span> Jin-<\/span>suk<\/span>, The Legionaries were welcomed by the Legionaries because of their charism and spirituality that could enrich the diocesan Church. <\/span>At the historical level, a<\/span>one of the greatest treasures of the Korean Church is the spirituality of <\/span>your<\/span>s martyrs. Most of them were lay people who, despite having little contact with priests, were willing to give their lives. Their deep faith and courage continue to be a great inspiration. Today, many of them have already been canonized or beatified, and others are on the road to sainthood. I hope that both East and West will see in these martyrs a model of a life of faith in our secular age, where following Christ still demands courage and sacrifice.\u00bb.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

WYD 2027 will be an occasion not only to participate in the celebrations, but also to strengthen communion through an International Youth Meeting of Regnum Christi that will deepen the shared mission.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Although<\/span> the dicastery <\/span>for the Laity, the Family and Life <\/span>in charge of the day <\/span>still <\/span>has not <\/span>made public <\/span>the practical and logistical details of the specific events during WYD<\/span> of Korea,<\/span> the <\/span>Regnum<\/span> Christi family <\/span>now <\/span>ha comenzado a hacer un sondeo para conocer cu\u00e1ntas personas estar\u00edan interesadas en participar, a fin de anticipar la organizaci\u00f3n y facilitar la futura planificaci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p>\n

La Jornada Mundial de la Juventud en Se\u00fal se celebrar\u00e1 del <\/span><\/span>3 al 8 de agosto de 2027<\/span><\/span><\/strong>, fechas ya anunciadas oficialmente. Como parte de la preparaci\u00f3n del <\/span>Regnum<\/span> Christi, se prev\u00e9 realizar el <\/span><\/span>Encuentro Internacional de J\u00f3venes el 2 de agosto<\/span> de 2027<\/span><\/span><\/strong>, tambi\u00e9n en la ciudad de Se\u00fal.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

A medida que se acerquen estas fechas, <\/span>se ir\u00e1 ofreciendo m\u00e1s<\/span> informaci\u00f3n que permitir\u00e1 a las comunidades prepararse mejor para esta peregrinaci\u00f3n hist\u00f3rica. El camino hacia la JMJ Se\u00fal 2027 ya ha comenzado, marcado por la unidad, la esperanza y la misi\u00f3n compartida.<\/span><\/p>\n
