\nChrist, our King, Thy Kingdom come!<\/p>\n
Preparatory prayer\u00a0<\/strong>(to put me in the presence of God)<\/em> Gospel of the day\u00a0<\/strong>(to guide your meditation)<\/em> There was a man in the synagogue who was possessed by an unclean spirit, and he cried out, \u201cWhat do you want with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are, the Holy One of God\u201d. Jesus commanded him, \u201cBe quiet and come out of him!\u201d The unclean spirit, shaking the man violently and shrieking, came out of him. They were all astonished and wondered, \u201cWhat is this? What new doctrine is this? This man has authority to command even unclean spirits, and they obey him.\u201d And very soon his fame spread throughout Galilee.<\/p>\n Word of the Lord.<\/p>\n Meditate on what God tells you in the Gospel<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00abJes\u00fas ense\u00f1aba con autoridad, no como los escribas.\u00bb Jes\u00fas atrae las masas, todos le escuchan, los fariseos le envidian y critican. La gente est\u00e1 pendiente de lo que sale de su boca, pues Jes\u00fas no dice frases de libro ni repite sabios consejos de los mayores. Jes\u00fas habla con conciencia, \u00a1\u00c9l es el cumplimiento mismo de la Escritura, toda la Biblia hablaba de \u00c9l! \u00bfQu\u00e9 necesidad ten\u00eda de estudiar? Sus palabras sal\u00edan de su coraz\u00f3n, la misma fuente que hab\u00eda inspirado a los profetas de los textos antiguos. Y la gente se daba cuenta de esto: de que Jes\u00fas no era un charlat\u00e1n, que Jes\u00fas hablaba con autoridad, firme, con el coraz\u00f3n. \u00abA cada uno. \u00bfC\u00f3mo encenderemos la esperanza si faltan profetas? \u00bfC\u00f3mo encararemos el futuro si nos falta unidad? \u00bfC\u00f3mo llegar\u00e1 Jes\u00fas a tantos rincones, si faltan audaces y valientes testigos? Hoy el Se\u00f1or te invita a caminar con \u00c9l la ciudad, te invita a caminar con \u00c9l tu ciudad. Te invita a que seas disc\u00edpulo misionero, y as\u00ed te vuelvas parte de ese gran susurro que quiere seguir resonando en los distintos rincones de nuestra vida: \u00a1Al\u00e9grate, el Se\u00f1or est\u00e1 contigo!\u00bb Dialogue with Christ<\/strong> Purpose<\/strong> Farewell<\/strong> Christ, our King! \nJes\u00fas hombre, quiero salir al encuentro de los dem\u00e1s como T\u00fa saliste a mi encuentro. Pero antes, perm\u00edteme contemplar con paz los misterios de tu Evangelio que me dispongo a meditar.<\/p>\n

\nAt that time Jesus came to Capernaum, and on the next Sabbath he went to the synagogue and began to teach. The listeners were astonished at his words, for he taught as one having authority and not as the scribes.<\/p>\n
\nLos jud\u00edos se re\u00fanen el s\u00e1bado para orar en la sinagoga. Ese es su d\u00eda de descanso. Jes\u00fas cur\u00f3 a un endemoniado en la sinagoga el s\u00e1bado. \u00bfNo me curar\u00e1 a m\u00ed, un pecador en mi Iglesia el domingo cuando nos reunimos todos a rezar? \u00bfCu\u00e1nto tiempo me paso yo delante de Jes\u00fas para que me cure? \u00bfCu\u00e1nto aprovecho los medios que tengo para acercarme a Jes\u00fas, para encontrarme con \u00c9l? \u00bfMe doy cuenta de que mi formaci\u00f3n consiste en ponerme a disposici\u00f3n de Jes\u00fas para que \u00c9l me forme con su palabra y saque mis demonios de mi interior?
\nVayamos al templo, dejemos que el Se\u00f1or nos enamore con su autoridad, que cautive nuestros sentidos. Y cuando el demonio que llevamos dentro empiece a gritar de dolor \u00ab\u00bfqu\u00e9 quieres de m\u00ed, Se\u00f1or? \u00bfHas venido a acabar con mi vida?,\u00bb dejemos que \u00c9l lo expulse: \u00abC\u00e1llate y sal de \u00e9l.\u00bb Que las palabras dulces de Jes\u00fas callen nuestro esp\u00edritu de queja y de querer guardar nuestra vida. Y que nuestra boca sea instrumento para la evangelizaci\u00f3n.
\n\u00abTodos se quedaron maravillados\u00bb y \u00absu fama que se extendi\u00f3 por Galilea.\u00bb Lo que Jes\u00fas ha hecho con nosotros debe servir para la edificaci\u00f3n de nuestros hermanos m\u00e1s pr\u00f3ximos. Salgamos a compartir sus misericordias tambi\u00e9n con los lejanos.<\/p>\n
