Preparatory prayer\u00a0<\/strong>(to put me in the presence of God)<\/em> Gospel of the day\u00a0<\/strong>(to guide your meditation)<\/em> Meditate on what God tells you in the Gospel<\/strong><\/p>\n El endemoniado, despu\u00e9s de haber tenido una experiencia fuerte de la misericordia de Dios, se siente impulsado por el Esp\u00edritu Santo a seguir a Cristo m\u00e1s de cerca; podr\u00edamos decir como sacerdote, consagrado o monja pero, para su sorpresa y la nuestra, \u00c9l le dice que le tiene otra misi\u00f3n en la que puede compartir las maravillas que Dios ha hecho en su vida; \u00e9l mismo, con su vida, ya es un ejemplo de lo que Dios puede hacer con un alma que se deja tocar por \u00c9l. Despu\u00e9s de haber experimentado la misericordia de Dios, se convierte en testigo de este amor divino y disc\u00edpulo del Se\u00f1or en sus circunstancias ordinarias como su vida en familia, el trabajo, con la gente y sus amigos que trata todos los d\u00edas.<\/p>\n As\u00ed es como el Se\u00f1or quiere tocar nuestra vida hoy porque no hay pecador sin futuro ni santo sin pasado; lo que tenemos que hacer es dejarnos tocar por su gracia, que es un amor inmensamente tierno, porque \u00c9l es nuestro padre y nosotros, sus hijos queridos. Es dif\u00edcil porque la acci\u00f3n de su perd\u00f3n implica reconocer nuestras debilidades y pecados y, tambi\u00e9n, un morir a nosotros mismos porque, con el perd\u00f3n de Dios, una parte de nosotros muere y nos convertimos en personas renovadas que se preocupan por comunicar a los dem\u00e1s las maravillas de Dios que nos ha salvado, nos convertimos en ap\u00f3stoles de la misericordia de Dios para que otros, tambi\u00e9n, puedan experimentar el amor de Dios y se extienda, as\u00ed, su gracia entre los hombres.<\/p>\n \u00abEs importante no pensar en el tema \u201cVete a tu casa” como una simple invitaci\u00f3n a volver. No pens\u00e9is en la \u201ccasa\u201d como algo cerrado y limitado. Por el contrario, todo camino dado por el Se\u00f1or es siempre un andar misionero para contar \u201clo que el Se\u00f1or ha hecho contigo y que ha tenido compasi\u00f3n de ti\u201d. No olvid\u00e9is que segu\u00eds siendo una minor\u00eda entre vuestra gente. Todav\u00eda hay una mayor\u00eda que tiene el derecho y est\u00e1 esperando escuchar el anuncio del Evangelio. El mandato de Cristo, por lo tanto, sigue siendo urgente hoy para vosotros. Ahora os toca a vosotros construir una Iglesia-casa joven y alegre, llena de vida y de fraternidad. \u00a1Qu\u00e9 mediante vuestro testimonio los mensajes salv\u00edficos de Dios lleguen al coraz\u00f3n de vuestros vecinos y compatriotas! \u00a1Siempre el testimonio nunca el proselitismo! \u201c\u00bfC\u00f3mo llevar a cabo esta tarea?\u201d \u2015 podr\u00edais preguntarme. Os propongo estas tres caracter\u00edsticas para vuestro testimonio en este tiempo: honradez, responsabilidad y optimismo. \nSe\u00f1or, c\u00farame de mis heridas, mis enfermedades y todo aquello que me aleje de Ti; ay\u00fadame a reconocerme pecador y necesitado de tu gracia para poder vivir en carne propia tu amor y comunicarlo a los dem\u00e1s.<\/p>\n
\nFrom the Holy Gospel according to Mark 5:1-20
\nEn aquel tiempo, despu\u00e9s de atravesar el lago de Genesaret, Jes\u00fas y sus disc\u00edpulos llegaron a la otra orilla, a la regi\u00f3n de los gerasenos. Apenas desembarc\u00f3 Jes\u00fas, vino corriendo desde el cementerio un hombre pose\u00eddo por un esp\u00edritu inmundo, que viv\u00eda en los sepulcros. Ya ni con cadenas pod\u00edan sujetarlo; a veces hab\u00edan intentado sujetarlo con argollas y cadenas, pero \u00e9l romp\u00eda las cadenas y destrozaba las argollas; nadie ten\u00eda fuerzas para dominarlo. Se pasaba d\u00edas y noches en los sepulcros o en el monte, gritando y golpe\u00e1ndose con piedras.
\nWhen the man saw Jesus from afar, he ran and fell down and cried out at the top of his voice, \u201cWhat do you want with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg you by God, do not torment me\u201d.
\nHe said this because Jesus had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. Then Jesus asked him, \u201cWhat is your name?\u201d And he answered him, \u201cMy name is Legion, for we are many.\u201d And he begged him earnestly not to drive them out of that region.
\nThere was a large herd of swine feeding on the hillside. The spirits begged Jesus, \u201cLet us get out of here and get into the pigs. And he let them. The unclean spirits came out of the man and got into the swine; and all the swine, about two thousand of them, rushed over the cliff into the lake and drowned.
\nThose who took care of the pigs ran away and told what had happened, in the village and in the countryside. The people went to see what had happened. They came to Jesus and saw the once demon-possessed man, now in his right mind, sitting up and clothed. Then they were afraid. And those who had seen everything told them what had happened to the demoniac and about the pigs. They began to beg Jesus to leave their district.
\nAs Jesus was embarking, the demoniac begged him to take him into his company, but he refused and said to him, \u201cGo home to your own family and tell them how merciful the Lord has been to you. And that man went away from there and began to proclaim throughout the region of Decapolis what Jesus had done for him. And all who heard him were amazed.
\nWord of the Lord.<\/p>\n

\nThis is the most important part of your prayer, prepare yourself to talk with much love with the One who loves you.<\/em><\/p>\n
\nPropose a personal one. The one that involves the most love in response to the Beloved... or, if you believe that this is what God is asking of you, live what is suggested below.<\/em>
\nIr a confesi\u00f3n, si lo necesito, e invitar a alguien m\u00e1s reflexionar sobre la misericordia de Dios y el sacramento de la reconciliaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n
\nWe thank You, Lord, for all Your benefits, You who live and reign forever and ever.
