Se trata de abrirnos a las necesidades de nuestros hermanos que sufren y necesitan ayuda, escapando del ego\u00edsmo y la cerraz\u00f3n del coraz\u00f3n. Es precisamente el coraz\u00f3n, es decir el n\u00facleo profundo de la persona, lo que Jes\u00fas ha venido a \u00ababrir\u00bb, a liberar, para hacernos capaces de vivir plenamente la relaci\u00f3n con Dios y con los dem\u00e1s. \u00c9l se hizo hombre para que el hombre, que se ha vuelto interiormente sordo y mudo por el pecado, pueda escuchar la voz de Dios, la voz del Amor que habla a su coraz\u00f3n, y as\u00ed aprenda a hablar a su vez el lenguaje del amor, traduci\u00e9ndolo en gestos de generosidad y de donaci\u00f3n de s\u00ed.\u00bb (\u00c1ngelus de S.S. \nFrom the Holy Gospel according to St. Mark 7, 31-37
\nAt that time Jesus went out of the region of Tyre and came again by way of Sidon to the Sea of Galilee, passing through the region of Decapolis. Then they brought to him a man who was deaf and stammered, and begged him to lay his hands on him. He drew him aside from the people, put his fingers in his ears, and touched his tongue with spittle. Then, looking at the sky, he sighed and said: \u201cEffet\u00e1\u201d (which means \u201cOpen up!\u201d). At that moment his ears opened, his tongue was released and he began to speak without difficulty.
\nHe commanded them to tell no one; but the more he commanded them, the more insistently they proclaimed it; and they were all amazed and said, \u201cHow well he does everything! He makes the deaf hear and the dumb speak.\u201d.

\nHoy se celebra en la liturgia a los santos Cirilo y Metodio, los dos grandes evangelizadores de la Europa del Este, donde se hablan las leguas eslavas (Bulgaria, Rusia, Serbia\u2026). Fueron dos grandes ap\u00f3stoles que, incluso, inventaron un abecedario para poder traducir la Biblia a las lenguas de los pueblos eslavos (por eso el alfabeto que usan se llama\u00a0cir\u00edlico<\/em>)
\nEs providencial el Evangelio de hoy. Seguro que los dos grandes santos lo escucharon antes de partir a misionar. Jes\u00fas sale de su territorio normal de acci\u00f3n hacia una tierra habitada mayoritariamente por gentiles. Nos lo podemos imaginar bordeando el lago de Galilea, decidido y con paso fuerte, en direcci\u00f3n hacia donde sale el sol. Contempl\u00e9mosle: \u00bfqu\u00e9 deb\u00eda pensar en el camino?, \u00bfc\u00f3mo deb\u00eda ser su fuego interior?
\nContemplemos tambi\u00e9n al sordomudo. Nunca hab\u00eda o\u00eddo ni hablado, s\u00f3lo ve\u00eda im\u00e1genes como en una pel\u00edcula antigua sin audio. Un grupo de amigos y vecinos le llevaban hacia Jes\u00fas, el profeta del pueblo vecino, para que le impusiera las manos y lo curara. \u00bfLo hac\u00edan de buena fe, lo hac\u00edan esperando ver un milagrillo? No se sabe, cont\u00e9mplalo t\u00fa, m\u00e9tete entre la multitud. Lo que s\u00ed sabemos es que Jes\u00fas no le impuso las manos como todos quer\u00edan. Jes\u00fas le meti\u00f3 los dedos en los o\u00eddos y en la boca y, con una palabra, empez\u00f3 a o\u00edr y hablar.
\nP\u00eddele a Jes\u00fas ser como \u00c9l y como los santos Cirilo y Metodio, y que te d\u00e9 el amor que necesitas para salir al encuentro de los gentiles. Deja que nazca en ti su mismo deseo de llevar luz y alegr\u00eda, dile que quieres ser sus manos para curar al que no oye y al que no habla.<\/p>\n
