From the Holy Gospel according to Luke 24:35-48<\/p>\n

Cuando los dos disc\u00edpulos regresaron de Ema\u00fas y llegaron al sitio donde estaban reunidos los ap\u00f3stoles, les contaron lo que les hab\u00eda pasado en el camino y c\u00f3mo hab\u00edan reconocido a Jes\u00fas al partir el pan.<\/p>\n

Mientras hablaban de esas cosas, se present\u00f3 Jes\u00fas en medio de ellos y les dijo: “La paz est\u00e9 con ustedes”. Ellos desconcertados y llenos de temor, cre\u00edan ver un fantasma. Pero \u00e9l les dijo: “No teman; soy yo. \u00bfPor qu\u00e9 se espantan? \u00bfPor qu\u00e9 surgen dudas en su interior? Miren mis manos y mis pies. Soy yo en persona. T\u00f3quenme y conv\u00e9nzanse: un fantasma no tiene ni carne ni huesos, como ven que tengo yo”. Y les mostr\u00f3 las manos y los pies. Pero como ellos no acababan de creer de pura alegr\u00eda y segu\u00edan at\u00f3nitos, les dijo: “\u00bfTienen aqu\u00ed algo de comer?”. Le ofrecieron un trozo de pescado asado; \u00e9l lo tom\u00f3 y se puso a comer delante de ellos.<\/p>\n

Despu\u00e9s les dijo: “Lo que ha sucedido es aquello de que les hablaba yo, cuando a\u00fan estaba con ustedes: que ten\u00eda que cumplirse todo lo que estaba escrito de m\u00ed en la ley de Mois\u00e9s, en los profetas y en los salmos”.<\/p>\n

Entonces les abri\u00f3 el entendimiento para que comprendieran las Escrituras y les dijo: “Est\u00e1 escrito que el Mes\u00edas ten\u00eda que padecer y hab\u00eda de resucitar de entre los muertos al tercer d\u00eda, y que en su nombre se hab\u00eda de predicar a todas las naciones, comenzando por Jerusal\u00e9n, la necesidad de volverse a Dios para el perd\u00f3n de los pecados. Ustedes son testigos de esto”.<\/p>\n

Meditate on what God tells you in the Gospel<\/strong><\/p>\n

Al principio del Evangelio leemos que hay dos disc\u00edpulos. Ellos est\u00e1n tristes por la muerte del Maestro y piensan que ya no tienen m\u00e1s lecciones por recibir, cuando Dios nos da tantas lecciones de vida en lo cotidiano. Cristo se hace presente cuando hay comunidad por lo que hay que ir siempre acompa\u00f1ados en la vida. Luego, el saber que Cristo hoy est\u00e1 vivo y presente en nuestras vidas, nos impulsa a dar unas palabras de alegr\u00eda y consuelo.<\/p>\n

Deteng\u00e1monos a reflexionar acerca de la necesidad en cada uno de nosotros de recibir un consuelo, pero s\u00f3lo si vemos el consuelo de Dios en cada una de nuestras vidas, seremos capaces de consolar al hermano. T\u00fa y yo tantas veces pasamos tristezas, miedos y fracasos y compartirlo con otros, ayuda, pero el verdadero \u00e1nimo, el cual ser\u00e1 como una fuente de vida, es recibir el consuelo de Dios. Por tanto, hay que estar acompa\u00f1ados en los momentos de las pruebas y, luego, pedir luz y fe para ver a Cristo que est\u00e1 a nuestro lado.<\/p>\n

La presencia de Dios nos puede asustar por los prejuicios que tenemos, sin embargo, de \u00c9l salen las palabras \u00abNo teman, Soy yo en persona\u2026\u00bb Pero antes dice: \u00abLa paz est\u00e9 con ustedes\u00bb Dios sabe que todos los d\u00edas pasamos tormentas, sea porque sentimos que no somos lo suficientemente buenos como deber\u00edamos, sea porque no sentimos que cumplimos con nuestras responsabilidades\u2026Dios quiere de sus hijos la paz. La paz, en parte, se encuentra cuando estamos unidos en familia, en comunidad. \u00abLa experiencia que vivieron los disc\u00edpulos de Ema\u00fas los empuj\u00f3 de modo irresistible a ponerse de nuevo en camino, a pesar de haber recorrido once kil\u00f3metros. Est\u00e1 oscureciendo, pero ya no tienen miedo de caminar de noche, pues es Cristo quien ilumina su vida. Tambi\u00e9n nosotros, un d\u00eda, encontramos al Se\u00f1or en el camino de nuestra vida. Como los disc\u00edpulos de Ema\u00fas, fuimos llamados para llevar la luz de Cristo en la noche del mundo. Ustedes, queridos j\u00f3venes, est\u00e1n llamados a ser la luz en la obscuridad de la noche de tantos compa\u00f1eros que a\u00fan no conocen la alegr\u00eda de la vida nueva en Jes\u00fas.\u00bb<\/p>\n
