Al anochecer del d\u00eda de la resurrecci\u00f3n, estando cerradas las puertas de la casa donde se hallaban los disc\u00edpulos, por miedo a los jud\u00edos, se present\u00f3 Jes\u00fas en medio de ellos y les dijo: \u201cLa paz est\u00e9 con ustedes\u201d. Dicho esto, les mostr\u00f3 las manos y el costado. Cuando los disc\u00edpulos vieron al Se\u00f1or, se llenaron de alegr\u00eda.<\/p>\n

De nuevo les dijo Jes\u00fas: \u201cLa paz est\u00e9 con ustedes. Como el Padre me ha enviado, as\u00ed tambi\u00e9n los env\u00edo yo\u201d. Despu\u00e9s de decir esto, sopl\u00f3 sobre ellos y les dijo: \u201cReciban al Esp\u00edritu Santo. Thomas, one of the Twelve, whom they called the Twin, was not with them when Jesus came, and the other disciples said to him, \u201cWe have seen the Lord\u201d. But he answered them, \u201cUnless I see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the nail holes, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.\u201d.<\/p>\n

Ocho d\u00edas despu\u00e9s, estaban reunidos los disc\u00edpulos a puerta cerrada y Tom\u00e1s estaba con ellos. Jes\u00fas se present\u00f3 de nuevo en medio de ellos y les dijo: \u201cLa paz est\u00e9 con ustedes\u201d.\u00a0 Luego le dijo a Tom\u00e1s: \u201cAqu\u00ed est\u00e1n mis manos; acerca tu dedo. Trae ac\u00e1 tu mano, m\u00e9tela en mi costado y no sigas dudando, sino cree\u201d. Many other signs Jesus did in the presence of his disciples, but they are not written in this book. These were written so that you might believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that believing you might have life in his name.<\/p>\n

Jes\u00fas conoce mi debilidad. \u00c9l sabe que tengo dudas, que a veces no conf\u00edo lo suficiente. Sabe que el dolor, la tristeza, las dificultades me invaden y me cuesta acudir a \u00c9l, abandonarme en sus brazos.<\/p>\n

Eso mismo le pasaba a los ap\u00f3stoles. Ellos se sent\u00edan tristes, abandonados. Jes\u00fas no estaba con ellos. O eso era lo que ellos pensaban. El Se\u00f1or se hace presente y les concede la paz. Esa paz que es fruto de su resurrecci\u00f3n. La paz de saber que nuestros pecados, que mis pecados, han sido perdonados. La paz de saber que Cristo me ha hecho hermano suyo e hijo de Dios.<\/p>\n

Cristo se hace presente en mi vida, como lo hizo con sus ap\u00f3stoles. Viene a habitar conmigo. Me viene a demostrar lo grande que es su amor, tan grande que ni la misma muerte pudo vencer.
\n\u00c9l conoce mis miedos, dudas y, por eso mismo, quiere estar conmigo, asegurarme que no hay nada de que temer. Me saluda como un amigo, de la misma forma que salud\u00f3 a Tom\u00e1s, a quien no le reproch\u00f3 su falta de fe, sino que lo alent\u00f3 a no volver a dudar jam\u00e1s de \u00c9l.<\/p>\n

Cristo est\u00e1 vivo. Ha resucitado. En verdad ha resucitado. Mi vida no puede seguir igual. Ya no puede haber lugar para miedos, tristezas, dudas porque Cristo est\u00e1 conmigo \u00aby nada ni nadie me podr\u00e1n separar del amor de Cristo Jes\u00fas\u00bb que \u00abme am\u00f3 y se entreg\u00f3 por m\u00ed\u00bb.<\/p>\n

Cristo est\u00e1 conmigo. Me ha salvado de mis pecados y me ha dado el perd\u00f3n y la paz. Me ha dado el don m\u00e1s grande que es el poder llamar a Dios \u00abPadre\u00bb. Ese regalo que viene de los m\u00e1s profundo de su coraz\u00f3n. Un coraz\u00f3n magn\u00e1nimo, bondadoso. Un coraz\u00f3n que es misericordia.<\/p>\n

\u00abDespu\u00e9s de cincuenta d\u00edas de incertidumbre para los disc\u00edpulos, lleg\u00f3 Pentecost\u00e9s. Por una parte, Jes\u00fas hab\u00eda resucitado, lo hab\u00edan visto y escuchado llenos de alegr\u00eda, y tambi\u00e9n hab\u00edan comido con \u00c9l. Por otro lado, a\u00fan no hab\u00edan superado las dudas y los temores: estaban con las puertas cerradas, con pocas perspectivas, incapaces de anunciar al que est\u00e1 Vivo. Luego, llega el Esp\u00edritu Santo y las preocupaciones se desvanecen: ahora los ap\u00f3stoles ya no tienen miedo ni siquiera ante quien los arresta; antes estaban preocupados por salvar sus vidas, ahora ya no tienen miedo de morir; antes permanec\u00edan encerrados en el Cen\u00e1culo, ahora salen a anunciar a todas las gentes.\u00bb<\/p>\n
