Me presento ante ti con todo lo que soy, con mis dudas, mis inquietudes y deseos. Creo que T\u00fa me acoges tal como soy y me amas por encima de mis defectos, por eso me dispongo a escucharte y abro mi coraz\u00f3n para que me toque tu gracia.<\/span><\/p>\n

El pedido que me haces de amar a mi enemigo es un camino donde he tenido muchas ca\u00eddas. T\u00fa sabes que no es f\u00e1cil para m\u00ed el quedarme callado ante una injusticia, y menos a\u00fan si es de alguien cercano, pero vi\u00e9ndolo bien quiero ser m\u00e1s hijo tuyo que hijo de m\u00ed mismo.<\/span><\/p>\n

Me pones como condici\u00f3n para ser hijo del Padre, el amar al enemigo y rezar por los que me hacen el mal. Quieres que suban a otro nivel con mis reacciones, mis sentimientos y mis razonamientos y eso no es posible sin tu gracia, as\u00edsteme en el momento de la prueba.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00bfQui\u00e9n es mi verdadero enemigo? Tal vez no lo sean los dem\u00e1s, sino mi propio orgullo, mi incapacidad de ceder ante una negativa, mi incapacidad de bondad cuando me han herido. \u00bfqui\u00e9n es mi enemigo m\u00e1s frecuente?<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00abEsto es poner la otra mejilla: la mansedumbre de Jes\u00fas es una respuesta m\u00e1s fuerte que el golpe que recibi\u00f3. Poner la otra mejilla no es el repliegue del perdedor, sino la acci\u00f3n de quien tiene una fuerza interior m\u00e1s grande. Poner la otra mejilla es vencer al mal con el bien, que abre una brecha en el coraz\u00f3n del enemigo, desenmascarando lo absurdo de su odio. Y esta actitud, este poner la otra mejilla, no es dictado por el c\u00e1lculo o por el odio, sino por el amor. Queridos hermanos y hermanas, es el amor gratuito e inmerecido que recibimos de Jes\u00fas el que genera en el coraz\u00f3n un modo de hacer semejante al suyo, que rechaza toda venganza. Nosotros estamos acostumbrados a las venganzas: \u201cMe has hecho esto, yo te har\u00e9 esto otro\u201d, o a custodiar en el coraz\u00f3n este rencor, rencor que hace da\u00f1o, destruye la persona\u00bb.
