Se\u00f1or, T\u00fa que conoces lo m\u00e1s \u00edntimo de m\u00ed, ay\u00fadame a poner todo mi esfuerzo en conocerte tambi\u00e9n a Ti de manera profunda para poder comunicar tu amor y mensaje a los dem\u00e1s.<\/p>\n

From the Holy Gospel according to St. Matthew 17, 1-9<\/p>\n

At that time Jesus took with him Peter, James and his brother John, and led them up a high mountain alone with him. There he was transfigured in their presence: his face became radiant like the sun and his garments became white as snow. Suddenly Moses and Elijah appeared before them, conversing with Jesus.<\/p>\n

Entonces Pedro le dijo a Jes\u00fas: \u201cSe\u00f1or, \u00a1qu\u00e9 bueno ser\u00eda quedarnos aqu\u00ed! Si quieres, haremos aqu\u00ed tres tiendas, una para ti, otra para Mois\u00e9s y otra para El\u00edas\u201d.<\/p>\n

Cuando a\u00fan estaba hablando, una nube luminosa los cubri\u00f3 y de ella sali\u00f3 una voz que dec\u00eda: \u201c\u00c9ste es mi Hijo muy amado, en quien tengo puestas mis complacencias; esc\u00fachenlo\u201d. Al o\u00edr esto, los disc\u00edpulos cayeron rostro en tierra, llenos de un gran temor. Jes\u00fas se acerc\u00f3 a ellos, los toc\u00f3 y les dijo: \u201cLev\u00e1ntense y no teman\u201d. Alzando entonces los ojos, ya no vieron a nadie m\u00e1s que a Jes\u00fas.<\/p>\n

As they were coming down from the mountain, Jesus commanded them, \u201cTell no one what you have seen, until the Son of Man has risen from the dead.\u201d.<\/p>\n

Meditate on what God tells you in the Gospel<\/strong><\/p>\n

La presencia de Dios en nuestra vida es importante porque en las subidas a las monta\u00f1as y en los momentos felices, y en los tristes, \u00c9l siempre est\u00e1 ah\u00ed. De diferentes maneras se hace presente, puede tocarnos de acuerdo a c\u00f3mo nos sentimos porque nuestro Dios es personal y conoce el coraz\u00f3n humano.<\/p>\n

Nuestra vida es como un monte en el que hay subidas y bajadas. La compa\u00f1\u00eda es importante ya que puede cambiar mucho, si la monta\u00f1a est\u00e1 muy pesada, el ascenso se hace m\u00e1s llevadero. Cuando se llega a la cima se disfruta el logro y, en la mayor\u00eda de los lugares, hay vistas preciosas en las que podemos contemplar las maravillas de Dios. Despu\u00e9s de un camino dif\u00edcil nos llega el tiempo de la recompensa.<\/p>\n

Muchas veces nos preguntan sobre nuestra decisi\u00f3n de seguir a Cristo porque les sorprende que j\u00f3venes de veinte a\u00f1os le hayan dado la vida a Dios y vivan solo para \u00c9l. A primera vista es dif\u00edcil darse cuenta de la alegr\u00eda que nos llena de estar consagrados a Dios. Y esto se puede saber cuando nos preguntan c\u00f3mo tomamos la decisi\u00f3n y porqu\u00e9 seguimos en este camino. Esto est\u00e1 muy ligado a nuestra experiencia de Dios, el hecho de habernos encontrado con una persona que nos ha llenado de felicidad y esa persona es Cristo.<\/p>\n

En este d\u00eda tan especial pid\u00e1mosle al Se\u00f1or que nos ayude a encontrarlo en nuestro camino para amarlo m\u00e1s y conocerlo mejor.<\/p>\n

\u00abHay que destacar que, en medio del grupo de los Doce, Jes\u00fas elige llevarse a Pedro, Santiago y Juan con \u00c9l al monte. Les reserv\u00f3 el privilegio de ser testigos de la Transfiguraci\u00f3n. \u00bfPero por qu\u00e9 elige a los tres? \u00bfPorque son los m\u00e1s santos? No. Sin embargo, Pedro, a la hora de la prueba, lo negar\u00e1; y los dos hermanos Santiago y Juan pedir\u00e1n ser los primeros en entrar a su reino. Jes\u00fas, no obstante, no elige seg\u00fan nuestro criterio, sino seg\u00fan su plan de amor. El amor de Jes\u00fas no tiene medida: es amor, y \u00c9l elige con ese plan de amor. Es una elecci\u00f3n gratuita e incondicional, una iniciativa libre, una amistad divina que no pide nada a cambio. Y as\u00ed como llam\u00f3 a esos tres disc\u00edpulos, tambi\u00e9n hoy llama a algunos a estar cerca de \u00c9l, para poder dar testimonio. Ser testigos de Jes\u00fas es un don que no hemos merecido: nos sentimos inadecuados, pero no podemos echarnos atr\u00e1s con la excusa de nuestra incapacidad.\u00bb<\/p>\n
