The Youthfestival is an initiative that will take place in Magdala, year after year, until 2033.
«We all seek something, we all seek happiness. We all dream of something big,» reads the introduction to the web page specifically created for the organization of the spiritual, cultural and international initiative.
The Youthfestival is a pilgrimage to the places where our Lord Jesus Christ taught. During the event there will be daily masses and live music, which will make this pilgrimage a very enriching spiritual and cultural experience for young people and people of all ages..
Juan Solana, LC, director of the Magdala Center, and is already sponsored by the Francisco de Vitoria University (Madrid, Spain) and the Anahuac University of Mexico, as well as by some Regnum Christi schools in Mexico and Spain.
This July 2023, the 10-day pilgrimage to the Holy Land begins, where you can visit the holy places where the disciples witnessed the greatness and simplicity of a God who became man and encounter God's love through music during a festival in Magdala, the hometown of Mary Magdalene.
Walk, Pray, Sing and Share, are the four verbs that frame the 10-year experience of the Youthfestival. Walking by the same paths where our Lord Jesus Christ walked with his disciples. Pray in the contemplation of the places and the reflection of the sacred texts in the places where the mysteries of our redemption took place. Singing in praise in thanksgiving to proclaim his wonders. Y share, living this first experience to take it to more people, so that they can also participate in this journey of grace.
