1) What is Regnum Christi?<\/strong><\/h4>

Regnum Christi is an apostolic movement at the service of the Church. Regnum Christi helps its members live out their baptismal commitments \u2013personal holiness and apostolic action\u2013 according to its charism, which it shares with the Legionaries of Christ.<\/p>

The Regnum Christi Movement includes laymen and women, deacons, and diocesan priests. They contribute to spreading Christ\u2019s message to humanity by undertaking personal, organized apostolic activity. One of the unique characteristics of Regnum Christi is its close relationship with the Legionaries of Christ.<\/p>

2) What is the specific mission of the Legionaries of Christ?<\/strong><\/h4>

The specific mission of this religious congregation, taking after the mission of the Church, consists in extending the Kingdom of Christ in society, in accord with the demands of Christian charity and justice. Legionary religious \u2013 both those still in formation and those ordained priests \u2013 work extensively in collaboration with bishops, diocesan priests, those engaged in parish ministry and with pastoral programs in each diocese.<\/p>

3) What are the essential elements of the Legionary spirituality?<\/strong><\/h4>

It is an eminently Christ-centered spirituality characterized and rooted in the five \u201cloves\u201d: love for Christ, love for the Blessed Virgin Mary, love for the Church, love for the Pope, and love for souls. The heart of the Legionary spirituality is the virtue of charity, which is at the core of the Gospel: \u201cLove one another as I have loved you.\u201d<\/p>

4) What are the Legion\u2019s main fields of apostolic action?<\/strong><\/h4>

The apostolates of the Legion and Regnum Christi cover the following areas: education, youth and family, evangelization and missions, social promotion, mass media, and the formation of diocesan priests.<\/p>

5) Do the Legionaries or Regnum Christi have any type of consecrated secular life?<\/strong><\/h4>

The Legionaries of Christ, being priestly religious congregation, do not have a \u201cfemale branch.\u201d However, the Regnum Christi Movement has lay consecrated members, both men and women. The consecrated members of Regnum Christi live in community and follow Christ in poverty, chastity, and obedience.
