Regnum Christi International

Consecrated laity

We are men who, responding to a call from God, give our entire lives to the service of the Church as lay people consecrated to Christ in Regnum Christi, sent to live and spread the good news of being apostles in the social and professional world. With our personal talents and with our profession, we go out to meet others and, together with them, we seek to make the Kingdom of Christ present in society.

Our mission is to make Christ's Kingdom present in the hearts of people and in society as consecrated laity.

By taking private vows of poverty, chastity and obedience, we offer our whole life to Jesus. Our lay consecration wants to show that Jesus fills life with meaning and joy and is within the reach of each and every one of us.

Like Him and with Him, each one of us feels that we are one more brother among men and we dedicate our lives to evangelizing people, society and culture from our professional fields and in collaboration with others.

To the mission of Regnum Christi,
the consecrated laity
we specifically provide:

(articles 4 and 5 of our Constitutions):

This is how we consecrated laity live the spirituality of Regnum Christi

We offer a way of following and identifying with Christ, consecrated to the Father and close to his brothers and sisters, as one more of his People, announcing the Kingdom to them with the offering of our life, work and words.

You can learn more about the specific way in which consecrated lay people live the spirituality of Regnum Christi in Chapter 2 of our Constitutions.
