There are diocesan priests who, with the permission of their bishop, decide to belong to the Regnum Christi. In so doing, they participate in the formative and apostolic resources offered by the Regnum Christi as a path of sanctification.
Such is the case of Fr. Ferreira Pacheco, priest of the Archdiocese of Porto Alegre (Brazil). who joined the Regnum Christi on June 7, the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ.
«I am very happy to be part of this family. In addition to being a spiritual family, the most diverse vocations and states of life, we can pray for each other and live naturally, as a family, sit, talk and workn at the most diverse apostolates and missions. All this in order to make present the Reino de Cristo» (Fr. Gilberto Ferreira Pacheco).

The P. Gilberto received priestly ordination ago five years and, during their training at the seminar, with members of thel Regnum Christi family. He is currently the vicar of the parish São Vicente Pai dos Pobres, where performs missions Missionary Youth of Rio Grande do Sul.
«From I was in the seminar, el charisma from Regnum Christi family has been part of my life, with the book of prayeriois I used and the formation I received, God was leading me to this charism where we love and have a great friend who is Christ. The charism helps me to have that proximity with Christ and, from Him, in the ordinariness of my priestly life, to be able to experience the extraordinariness of God.», he said Fr. Gilberto.
Fr. Gilberto was born on December 21, 1992 and received priestly ordination on June 21, 2019. On the day of his ordination, Fr. Gilberto pronounced these words:«Who wants towas like TIf you want me to go wherever you send me, may your mission be my mission, may my vocation be the answer to your will. Ehese words, inspired by the missionary sending, expressedo the “yes” of the prophet Isaiah and of all of us who are part of the Catholic Church, and with them I repeat today my priestly motto: “here I am, send me”».
What did it mean for Fr. Gilberto to be associated with Regnum Christi?
