Lord, the world needs you, send more workers to your harvest, and if you ask me for something, give me the generosity to say yes.
Gospel of the day (to guide your meditation)
From the Holy Gospel according to Luke 12, 54-59
At that time, Jesus said to the crowd: “When you see a cloud rising from the west, you say at once that it will rain, and it does rain. When the wind blows from the south, you say it will be hot, and so it is. Hypocrites! If you know how to interpret the appearance of the heavens and the earth, why do you not then interpret the signs of the present time? Why then do you not judge for yourselves what is good for you to do now? When you go with your adversary to appear before the authorities, make every effort to come to an agreement with him on the way, so that he will not bring you before the judge, the judge will hand you over to the police, and the police will put you in jail. I assure you that you will not get out of there until you pay the last penny”.

Meditate on what God tells you in the Gospel
Since ancient times man has sought to have control of the things that surround him, based on observation they already knew when it was going to rain, what the sowing and harvesting periods were... Man today has other needs and it seems that he does not know how to read the signs of those needs, because being such internal and intimate needs, he cannot look for them if not within himself. And yet, man vehemently seeks those things that will not satisfy him, that will leave him with an inner emptiness and in the end he will realize how far he has strayed from happiness.
Today we have to change our heart, we have to know how to read its movements, not to control, but to love, so that at every moment we know what we have to do, without any complex, without any difficulty, but always knowing that the Lord is asking us to do something at every moment. He, being our Father, knows what we need at every moment and knows how to give it to us in due time, but we must know how to read it.
Now there is time, at the end of life we will be judged on our love, our heart will be weighed, and it is at that moment that we will know that our heart needed love; now is the right time to repair both my heart and the heart of those around me.
