With an atmosphere marked by fraternity, deep learning and spiritual experience, the Regnum Christi concluded its International Trainers Course (IFC) in July 2025. Thes activities brought together men and women of different nationalities in an itinerary of integral formation that combined classes, workshops, pilgrimages and moments of prayer, with the purpose of strengthening those who have the mission of guiding others in thes localities and sections from Regnum Christi family.
The IFC 2025, The aim was for each participant to experience not only an academic training, but an authentic encounter with his apostolic vocation. Inspired by number 36 of the Statutes of the Federation Regnum Christi - which stresses the importance of forming formators for apostolic action «deep, long-lasting and dynamic»-the program searched offerer a transformative experience that leftfor footprint in yours attendees.

A path in four chapters
Chapter 1 - «In His image»
For the women, this first chapter was developed from the July 8 to 12 in Rome. It included the teachings on Christian anthropology by the H. John Kenny, L.C., a pilgrimage to Assisi and the experience of the apostolate «Street Faith», The event took the faith to the streets through witness and dialogue with passers-by.
In the case of men, chapter 1 took place from July 9 to 11, also in Rome, with the same module of Christian anthropology, directed by the H. John Kenny, L.C.. Their itinerary also included a pilgrimage to Assisi and a visit to the Vatican Museums.

Chapter 2 - «The Big Story»
From July 12 to 14, both men and women worked on the theme of the history of salvation, guided by the P. Anton Vogelsang, L.C.. For women, this chapter also included a block dedicated to the history of the Church with the P. Vincenz Heereman, L.C. Both groups participated in visits to the Vatican Museums, experienced the Angelus prayer with the Pope and attended Mass at the Vatican.
One of the participants recalled especially the teachings on salvation history: «I was greatly helped by the course on salvation history, when Fr. Anton spoke about the importance and the need for us to understand the New Testament in the light of the Old Testament and the culture behind the words that Jesus spoke to his disciples and now speaks to us as well».

Chapter 3 - «Own your own vision of the world».»
In this module, which took place from July 15-16 for men and of the July 15 to 17 For women, the themes of culture, ideologies and dialogue with post-modernity were addressed. The men were provided with a «date workshop» given by the P. Vincenz Heereman, L.C., an apostolic discernment workshop and its apostolate day «Street Faith» in the streets of Rome, as well as visits to the papal basilicas.
The women, for their part, participated in the lecture on the Catholic world view given by the P. Gabriel Wendt, L.C., and in a workshop on culture and dialogue with postmodernity led by the consecrated Marta Rodriguez.

Pilgrimages
On July 17, both groups began their respective international pilgrimages. The men traveled to France, visiting Paris, Lisieux, Paray-Le-Monial & Ars, in a tour under the slogan A colorful tapestry. The women made their itinerary to Lourdes and Barcelona, participating in prayer and fellowship activities in these places of special spiritual relevance. The pilgrimages concluded on July 23, marking the end of a stage of encounter with faith through the history and culture of each site visited.

Chapter 4 - «Living the mystery».»
After the pilgrimages, the men resumed the program in Rome on July 24 and 25. This final chapter included lectures and workshops on the life of the apostle of the Kingdom, the call to divine sonship, the lifestyle of the Regnum Christi and the discernment of personal gifts. The women, for their part, began this chapter on July 23 and concluded it on the 25th, with contents centered on formation proper to the Regnum Christi, the experience of the mystery and a special chapter of the RC Collaborators Course entitled «Apostles of Jesus Christ». Both groups concluded their experience with a final Eucharistic adoration.
Another of the jócome tois participants highlighted the mark left on him by the prayer spaces: «One of the moments that struck me the most were the moments of prayer., learning about the effort required to pray a good prayer. The IFC taught me that prayer is one of the most important, if not the most important, aspect of our relationship with God. I had never thought that you can achieve levels of prayer; but it is like everything in life, the more you practice something and commit to it to do it better, the better you get at it. And these weeks I was able to experience how my prayer level grew to a different level because I have been taught how to pray and why to pray to God.».

Trainers of trainers
The IFC 2025 was coordinated by a diverse team of legionaries of Christ, lay people consecrated & consecrated, The participants were accompanied throughout the formative process. In the male modality, the guide was in the hands of Father Jaime Plascencia, L.C., Father Jorge Mora, L.C., Vicente Martinez, a consecrated layman, Brother Bernardo Ross, L.C., Brother Daniel de Tezanos Pintos, L.C., the brother Sterling Foley, L.C. and Brother José Andrés González, L.C. For women, the team consisted of the consecrated Paula Restrepo, Helen Yalbir, Cecilia Cánovas, Ticho Sosa, Cristy Villaseñor and Mariana Esquer, along with the support of lay people such as Zuzi Oseguera, Isa Delgado and Ignaciana Campos. Their work included the direction of conferences, spiritual and human accompaniment, and the organization of logistical and formative activities in each of the venues.

A heart- and mind-shaping experience
Both programs combined intense academic content with spiritual and cultural experiences that sought to leave an integral mark. The IFC not only presented theories, but also provided a space for each participant to reflect on their talents, areas for improvement and the challenging context in which the Church carries out its mission.
The international character of the meeting, with young people from different countries, strengthened the sense of belonging and the global vision of the mission of the Regnum Christi. The pilgrimages and moments of community prayer allowed the formation not to remain on the intellectual level, but to be incarnated in concrete experiences.
One of the participating girls shared that she was «very happy to be here, to have met wonderful people who have inspired me and I have been able to have an encounter with God who simply invites me to be with Him, to rest in Him and to trust in Him". completely».

Projection into the future
At the end of the course, the participants returned to their places of origin with the training material received and the experiences lived during the weeks of work, pilgrimages and workshops. The IFC 2025 concluded with the intention that each trainer, from his or her local reality, will continue to apply what they learned in their work in the Regnum Christi.
One of the participants from Mexico emphasized that for her «being able to participate in the IFC is a gift and an opportunity to know myself better and to know Jesus better and to receive all that is spiritual and formative and to take it back to the people of Mexico».
IFC 2025 reaffirmed that to form form formators is to invest in the very heart of the mission: people who, by their life and witness, can lead others to a personal encounter with Christ.
