Preparatory prayer (to put me in the presence of God)
Lord, I want to be with you at this moment and tell you so many things: to tell you about my life, even though you already know it, to tell you about my projects, to unburden you of my problems, to tell you about my illusions and my failures. I want to listen to you, to see you, to experience you, to touch you with faith. I need you as much as I need water or air. When I am far from you I am so sad, so weak, so fragile. But I also know that with you I can do anything.

From the Holy Gospel according to Luke 12, 49-53
En aquel tiempo, Jesús dijo a sus discípulos: “He venido a traer fuego a la tierra, ¡y cuánto desearía que ya estuviera ardiendo! Tengo que recibir un bautismo, ¡y cómo me angustio mientras llega! ¿Piensan acaso que he venido a traer paz a la tierra? De ningún modo. No he venido a traer la paz, sino la división. De aquí en adelante, de cinco que haya en una familia, estarán divididos tres contra dos y dos contra tres. Estará dividido el padre contra el hijo, el hijo contra el padre, la madre contra la hija y la hija contra la madre, la suegra contra la nuera y la nuera contra la suegra”.

Meditate on what God tells you in the Gospel
The Gospel shows me how you are and in this passage I contemplate a facet of your person that is rarely discovered. You are a man who is zealous for the salvation of souls, a man who is a fighter, a fierce and courageous man. You know well that your message goes against the current and that it will not be well received by the world, that is why you warn of the consequences of your actions.
You are a passionate, a madman of love who would like the world to burn for this love, but you come up against the coldness of the man who rarely and with resistance lets himself be ignited.
With this you teach me to cultivate in my life that zeal to make more people know and love you, so that their lives will be better. That passion to evangelize not just a few, but to reach the whole world.
Dame, Señor, un poco de ese celo tuyo que me mueva a ser dócil instrumento en tus manos para llevar tu mensaje por toda la tierra. Que me queme por dentro el anhelo de llevarte a los que no te conocen. Que me mueva, me motive a sudar y desgastarme consciente que de Ti depende la salvación.
Evangelizing is not always a reason for union, although it should be. You make this clear to me in this passage. It is difficult for people to give up ways of thinking, acting and being that are contrary to the Gospel. That is why your message is not always received with docility and openness. However, this is not a reason for discouragement. The fire of your love can consume these difficulties and make us all one flock, with one Shepherd.
«The fire of which Jesus speaks is the fire of the Holy Spirit, a living and active presence in us from the day of our Baptism. This fire is a creative force that purifies and renews, burns up all human misery, all selfishness, all sin, transforms us from within, regenerates us and makes us capable of love. Jesus wants the Holy Spirit to burst forth like fire in our hearts, because only by starting from the heart can the fire of divine love spread and advance the Kingdom of God».

Dialogue with Christ
This is the most important part of your prayer, prepare yourself to talk with much love with the One who loves you.
Purpose
Propose a personal one. The one that involves the most love in response to the Beloved... or, if you believe that this is what God is asking of you, live what is suggested below.
Today I will strive to live my duties in a spirit of perfection, offering to the Lord this act of love for the salvation of those who have not been evangelized.
