From the Holy Gospel according to Luke 6, 36-38
En aquel tiempo, Jesús dijo a sus discípulos: “Sean misericordiosos, como su Padre es misericordioso. No juzguen y no serán juzgados; no condenen y no serán condenados; perdonen y serán perdonados. Den y se les dará: recibirán una medida buena, bien sacudida, apretada y rebosante en los pliegues de su túnica. Porque con la misma medida con que midan, serán medidos”.

Meditate on what God tells you in the Gospel
Cuando era niño jugaba un juego que decía: “Botellita de jerez, botellita de jerez, todo lo que me digas será al revés.” Es curioso, pero nunca se ha visto que alguien que siembre manzanas reciba mangos, o que alguien que plante un peral reciba al fin de la cosecha cocos. En el común de los casos cada uno recibe lo que ha sembrado.
What Jesus teaches us goes beyond a farming technique or a mathematical law. Where you sow love, you will reap love. All his commands are governed by the criteria of love and mercy. God is love and mercy.
This Gospel should give us great peace of soul. God, at the end of our life, will give us only what we have given to others. It is not a lost time. It is still the season to sow love and mercy. It is time to forgive, to apologize, to not judge. It is time to give, to be generous, to be compassionate, as our Father in Heaven is merciful.
Let us ask Mary to grant us the grace to treat our brothers and sisters as she treated Jesus.

Es el amor de Cristo que nos “inquieta” hasta que no hayamos alcanzado el objetivo; que nos empuja a abrazar y estrechar a nosotros, a involucrar, a quienes tienen necesidad de misericordia para permitir que todos sean reconciliados con el Padre. No debemos tener miedo, es un amor que nos alcanza y envuelve hasta el punto de ir más allá de nosotros mismos, para darnos la posibilidad de reconocer su rostro en los hermanos. Dejémonos guiar dócilmente por este amor y llegaremos a ser misericordiosos como el Padre».

Purpose
Propose a personal one. The one that involves the most love in response to the Beloved... or, if you believe that this is what God is asking of you, live what is suggested below.
I will do an act of charity, with a person I dislike, as if I were doing it to Christ himself.
