Gospel of the day (to guide your meditation)
From the Holy Gospel according to St. Matthew 13:1-9
One day Jesus went out of the house where He was staying and sat down on the seashore. So many people gathered around him that he was forced to get into a boat and sit in it, while the people remained on the shore. Then Jesus spoke to them about many things in parables and said to them, “Once a sower went out to sow, and as he was casting out the seed, some grain fell along the road; the birds came and ate it up. Other grains fell on stony ground, which had little soil; there they germinated quickly, because the soil was not coarse; but when the sun rose, the sprouts withered, and as they had no roots, they withered away. Others fell among thorns, and when the thorns grew up, they choked the seedlings. Others fell on good soil and bore fruit, some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. He who has ears, let him hear.

Meditate on what God tells you in the Gospel
How many times have we heard this passage and we know with certainty that we may be some of the three unfruitful soils that remain, but not that good soil that bears fruit thirty, sixty and one hundred percent. But is this due to true humility, or to a false image of ourselves loaded with self-confidence and distrust in the power of God?
If we reflect deeply, who is the true architect of holiness? The Holy Spirit, evidently. That is why first of all we have to believe that He can and wants to transform our lives. Because although it is true that He needs our collaboration, that collaboration corresponds to one percent of the path of holiness that God has destined for us. The other ninety-nine percent is provided by HIM. Therefore, it is more a matter of abandoning ourselves to God than doing many things and using many human means.

«True love is to love and to let myself be loved. It is more difficult to let oneself be loved than to love. That is why it is so difficult to reach God's perfect love. Because we can love him, but the important thing is to let ourselves be loved by him. True love is to open ourselves to that love which comes first, and which surprises us. If you have only all the information, you are closed to surprise. Love opens you to surprise. Love is always a surprise, because it is a dialogue between two: between the one who loves and the one who is loved. And we say that God is the God of surprises, because he always loved us first, and he waits for us with a surprise. God surprises us. Let us allow ourselves to be surprised by God.

Dialogue with Christ
This is the most important part of your prayer, prepare yourself to talk with much love with the One who loves you.
Purpose
Propose a personal one. The one that involves the most love in response to the Beloved... or, if you believe that this is what God is asking of you, live what is suggested below.
I will look for a person I consider prudent, spiritual and wise, and I will ask him to be my spiritual director. And if I already have one, I will seek to make a life program that will help me to let myself be loved by God, to let myself be surprised by his love.
