Amen.

Christ, our King.
Thy Kingdom come!

Preparatory prayer (to put me in the presence of God)

Lord, fill my heart with love so that I may be able to love everyone with everything.

Gospel of the day (to guide your meditation)
From the Holy Gospel according to St. Matthew 7, 1-5

At that time, Jesus said to his disciples: “Judge not, and you will not be judged; for as you judge you will be judged, and with the measure you measure you will be measured. Why do you look at the speck in your brother's eye and do not notice the log in your own eye? With what face do you say to your brother, ‘Let me take out the speck in your own eye,’ when you have a log in your own eye? You hypocrite! First take out the log that is in your eye, and then you will be able to see well enough to take out the speck that is in your brother's eye”.

Word of the Lord.

Meditate on what God tells you in the Gospel

Paradoxically, the people who make the most mistakes are at the same time the hardest and most inflexible. And it is evident when a heart has no peace and love inside; it is divided and cannot but project all that frustration and bitterness onto others.

The testimony of saints and persons who have distinguished themselves in virtue is very diverse. They are always examples of beneficence and charity. Therefore, the key to holiness is not in many resolutions and rules of perfection but in loving. Never tire of loving. To love day and night. To love with the heart and with the thought. To love everyone in and from God.

Most Holy Mother, help us to have a loving heart like yours that seeks only to welcome and love others, especially with predilection for poor sinners.

«It is so ugly to judge: judgment only to God, only to Him! It is up to us to love, to understand, to pray for others when we see things that are not right, if necessary also to talk to them to put them on their guard if something does not seem to be going in the right direction. But never judge, never, because if we judge it is hypocrisy. When we judge we put ourselves in God's place, this is true, but our judgment is a poor judgment: it can never, never be a true judgment because the true judgment is the one given by God. And why can't ours be like God's; why is God omnipotent and we are not? No, because our judgment lacks mercy. And when God judges, he judges with mercy».
(Homily of H.H. Francis, June 20, 2016, in Santa Marta).

Dialogue with Christ

This is the most important part of your prayer, prepare yourself to talk with much love with the One who loves you.

Purpose

Propose a personal one. The one that involves the most love in response to the Beloved... or, if you believe that this is what God is asking of you, live what is suggested below.

I will take time out of my day to remember all the times the Lord has forgiven me for my sin and renewed me with the power of his love, so that I may do the same for others.

Farewell

We thank you, Lord, for all your benefits, you who live and reign forever and ever.
Amen.

Christ, our King!
Thy Kingdom come!

Most prudent Virgin, Mary, Mother of the Church.
Pray for us.

In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
Amen.
