Concédeme, Señor, la gracia de experimentar tu amor y fidelidad; que sean mi fortaleza y seguridad ante todo peligro, prueba y dificultad que se presente en mi vida.

From the Holy Gospel according to St. Matthew 10, 24-33
At that time, Jesus said to his apostles: “The disciple is not more than the master, nor the servant more than his lord. It is enough for the disciple to be like his master and the servant like his lord. If they have called the master of the house Satan, what will they not say of his servants?
Fear not men. There is nothing hidden that will not be discovered; there is nothing secret that will not be known. What I tell you at night, repeat in the daytime, and what I tell you in your ear, proclaim from the housetops.
Do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, fear him who can cast both soul and body into the place of punishment.
Is it not true that two little birds are sold for one coin? Yet not one of them falls to the ground unless the Father permits it. As for you, even the hairs of your head are numbered. Therefore, do not be afraid, for you are worth much more than all the birds in the world.
Whosoever acknowledges me before men, him will I also acknowledge before my Father who is in heaven; but whosoever denies me before men, him will I also deny before my Father who is in heaven.”.

Meditate on what God tells you in the Gospel
Gracias, Señor, por esta oportunidad de encontrarme contigo, quiero poner en tus manos todo lo que llevo en el corazón, las alegrías y las tristezas. Quiero estar en tu presencia como el niño pequeño que se siente protegido y amado por la sola presencia de su Padre.
A veces me siento un poco dividido, Tú sabes cómo funciona este mundo; sabes que los valores que promueve son diametralmente opuestos a lo que Tú me propones y sabes, sobre todo, cuánto cuesta mantenerse fiel a Ti, sobre todo cuando eso significa ir en contra de las modas y los criterios mundanos.
Te pido me ayudes a ser auténtico hasta las últimas consecuencias, así como Tú lo fuiste. Tú sabes que una de mis luchas más grandes es la coherencia entre lo que hago, lo que digo y lo que soy. Sabes cuántas veces me ha vencido el respeto humano y el miedo al qué dirán. Necesito que me ayudes a ser fuerte. Haz que me dé cuenta de que al final lo único que importa y me define es quién soy yo frente a Ti
Haz que sea consciente de que no todo depende de mí y que no estoy solo en esta lucha constante, estoy contigo. Dame la gracia de estar cierto de cuánto me amas y de que nunca me dejas solo, aun cuando yo así lo sienta. Jesús, te amo, gracias por amarme tanto.
«Pero en medio del torbellino, el cristiano no debe perder la esperanza, pensando en haber sido abandonado. Jesús nos tranquiliza diciendo: «Hasta los cabellos de vuestra cabeza están todos contados» (Mateo 10, 30). Como diciendo que ninguno de los sufrimientos del hombre, ni siquiera los más pequeños y escondidos, son invisibles ante los ojos de Dios. Dios ve, y seguramente protege; y donará su recompensa. Efectivamente, en medio de nosotros hay alguien que es más fuerte que el mal, más fuerte que las mafias, que los entramados oscuros, que quien se lucra sobre la piel de los desesperados, que el que aplasta a los demás con prepotencia.»
