Preparatory prayer (to put me in the presence of God)
María, qué alegría terminar esta semana de oración contigo. Eres custodia de mi vida interior y sabes cómo guardar las cosas en el corazón. Ayúdame a ponerme en presencia de Dios y hacer un momento de silencio orante antes de leer y meditar para gustar de estar con Él, como lo hacías tú… María, pongo en tus manos esta oración para que tú la entregues al Padre, y que sea ofrecida por la instauración del Reino y por… (di aquí la intención que tengas).

From the Holy Gospel according to Luke 1:26-38
When she was six months old, the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a city of Galilee called Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man named Joseph, of the seed of David; the virgin's name was Mary. The angel came into her presence and said, “Rejoice, full of grace; the Lord is with you. She was troubled at these words and wondered what the greeting was. The angel said to her, ”Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. You will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus. He will be great; he will be called the Son of the Most High; the Lord God will give him the throne of his father David; he will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of his kingdom there will be no end.“ And Mary said to the angel, ”How shall that be, for I know not a man?“ And the angel answered her, ”The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore the Holy One to be born will be called the Son of God. Behold your kinswoman Elizabeth, who, in spite of her old age, has conceived a son, and she who was called barren is already six months along; for with God nothing is impossible.“ And Mary answered, ”Here is the handmaid of the Lord; let it be done to me according to your word. And the angel left her.

Meditate on what God tells you in the Gospel
¿Por qué se pudieron realizar las obras de Dios en ti? María, dime tú secreto. Si, es verdad, en las palabras del Ángel encuentro la respuesta…”, ¡el Señor está contigo!”.
Experimento en este momento como si respondieras: “El Señor está contigo también”.
¡Tienes razón! Papá Dios me ha hecho su hijo(a), ha querido morar en mí por la gracia, me acompaña todo el tiempo. En esta presencia que tú supiste custodiar el Espíritu Santo encuentra las condiciones para actuar, para modelarme, impulsarme, inspirarme.
Podría meditar muchas cosas más sobre este pasaje, pero quisiera pedirte que me acompañes a un momento más contemplativo. A guardar silencio repitiendo esta frase muchas veces: “El Señor está conmigo”. Mientras la repito pido la gracia de que impregne mi mente y mi corazón. Que se transforme en una verdad que me convenza de que si Dios está conmigo Él actúa en mí, que ya está realizando sus obras en mí. Y dejar que esta paz me invada y me lleve a una acción de gracias, como tú Magníficat, por tanto amor de Dios.
«Como ayer, Dios sigue buscando aliados, sigue buscando hombres y mujeres capaces de creer, capaces de hacer memoria, de sentirse parte de su pueblo para cooperar con la creatividad del Espíritu. Dios sigue recorriendo nuestros barrios y nuestras calles, va a todas partes en busca de corazones capaces de escuchar su invitación y de hacerla convertirse en carne aquí y ahora. Parafraseando a san Ambrosio en su comentario sobre este pasaje, podemos decir: Dios sigue buscando corazones como el de María, dispuestos a creer incluso en condiciones absolutamente excepcionales».
