Thy Kingdom come!
Preparatory prayer (to put me in the presence of God)
Thank you, Lord, for the gift of my life, because you allow me to wake up every day, to see the sunlight and the smile on the faces of those I love. Increase my faith to discover you in everything that happens to me. Increase my hope to trust you in difficult moments. Increase my love to be your faithful witness before my brothers and sisters.
Gospel of the day (to guide your meditation)
From the Holy Gospel according to St. Mark 8, 1-10
On one of those days Jesus saw that many people were following him, and they had nothing to eat. Then he called his disciples to him and said to them, “I feel sorry for these people; they have been with me for three days and have nothing to eat. If I send them home fasting, they will faint on the way. Besides, some of them have come from far away. His disciples answered him, “And where can one get bread, here in the uninhabited country, so that so many people may eat?” He asked them, “How many loaves do you have?” They answered him, “Seven.” Jesus told the people to sit down on the ground, took the seven loaves, said the thanksgiving, broke them, and gave them to his disciples to distribute. And they distributed them among the people. They also had a few fish. Jesus blessed them also and commanded them to distribute them. The people ate their fill, and there were still seven baskets of leftovers. They numbered about four thousand. Jesus sent them away and then embarked with his disciples and came to the region of Dalmanutha.
Word of the Lord.
Meditate on what God tells you in the Gospel
Jesus had compassion for the people because He loved them. He loves us all, of that there is no doubt, but as he who comes closer to the fire has more possibilities of warming himself, so also he who comes closer to Christ offers Him more possibilities of demonstrating His love. Those people crowded around Jesus and He could not send them away empty-handed.
God wants to act, and will act, to the extent that we allow him to do so. He makes the fruits be abundant, even if what we present to him is little. The only thing he asks is that we give ourselves totally because then he will be able to make us truly happy. Those seven loaves and a few fish fed four thousand people, not because they were few, but because they were all that the disciples could offer to the Lord.
God wants to make you happy, what gifts do you have that you have not yet given Him?
«Jesus is the one who blesses and breaks the loaves, in order to satisfy all those people, but the five loaves and the two fish were contributed by the disciples, and Jesus wanted precisely this: that, instead of sending the crowd away, they should offer what little they had. There is also another gesture: the pieces of bread, broken by the sacred and venerable hands of the Lord, pass into the poor hands of the disciples to be distributed to the people. This too is “doing” with Jesus, it is “feeding” with him».

Dialogue with Christ
This is the most important part of your prayer, prepare yourself to talk with much love with the One who loves you.
Purpose
Propose a personal one. The one that involves the most love in response to the Beloved... or, if you believe that this is what God is asking of you, live what is suggested below.
During the day I will give the Lord some extra prayer time.
Farewell
We thank you, Lord, for all your benefits, you who live and reign forever and ever.
Amen.
