Holy Trinity
H. Francisco J. Posada, L.C.
In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Christ, our King, Thy Kingdom come!
Preparatory prayer (to put me in the presence of God)
Lord, You who have loved me so much, You who always think of me, You who accompany me all the days of my life, help me to love You more, that I may say to You with all my being «I love You».
Gospel of the day (to guide your meditation)
From the Holy Gospel according to John 3:16-18
“God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved. He who believes in him shall not be condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the only Son of God.”.
Word of the Lord.
Meditate on what God tells you in the Gospel
If someone loves you, he or she will not only tell you so, but you will notice it. The actions he or she does will make you feel loved, you will even experience more deeply his or her gaze, which will give you signs of how much he or she cares about you. A person who loves you wants the best for you and would not let you go down the wrong path, he or she would do everything possible to get you back on the right track because he or she does not want to see you unhappy.
The first step on a path of true love is to feel loved. The first place where we have this experience of love is usually in our own family, where we have come into the world and where we have been welcomed. No one loves their children more than their parents who, without any measure, give everything for them. From this first experience of love we can learn that love is giving, being with and for the other, as we have lived with our parents.
The love of God, who is one and triune, is, above all, merciful because in creation the Father loved us so that we might exist, the Son loved us and redeemed us in the passion, giving his life for us, and the Holy Spirit kindles and maintains in us the memory of this love.
The Holy Trinity loves us and reminds us of this through all the beautiful things we encounter in our lives, but not only this, because it knows that we are weak, it grants us forgiveness for our sins. God always forgives everything.
«Let the love of God, who sent Jesus to save us, enter into us and let the light that Jesus brings, the light of the Spirit enter into us and help us to see things with the light of God, with the true light and not with the darkness that the lord of darkness gives us. Two things, today: the love of God in Christ, in the crucified One; in the everyday, in the daily question we can ask ourselves, “Am I walking in the light or am I walking in the darkness? Am I a child of God or did I end up a poor bat?”
(Homily of H.H. Francis, April 22, 2020, in Santa Marta).
Dialogue with Christ
This is the most important part of your prayer, prepare yourself to talk with much love with the One who loves you.
To pray for my dad in a special way, thanking God for everything he has given me.
Purpose
Propose a personal one. The one that involves the most love in response to the Beloved... or, if you believe that this is what God is asking of you, live what is suggested below.

Amen.
Christ, our King!
Thy Kingdom come!
