Preparatory prayer (to put me in the presence of God)
Jesus, thank you for this moment you give me. I believe in you, but increase my faith. I trust in you, but help me to fully surrender into your loving arms. I love you, but help me to experience your love for me in such a way that my life becomes a single act of true love. Thank you for all the blessings I have received from your hands. Do not allow your grace to be sterile in me. I want to respond to all that you give me with a life full of love for you and for others.
Gospel of the day (to guide your meditation)
From the holy Gospel according to John 14:15-21
At that time, Jesus said to his disciples: «If you love me, you will keep my commandments. I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate to be with you forever, the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, because he abides with you, and he will be in you. I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you. In a little while the world will no longer see me, but you will see me, because I live and you will live. On that day you will realize that I am in my Father and you are in me and I am in you. Whoever has my commandments and observes them is the one who loves me. Whoever loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and reveal myself to him.».

Meditate on what God tells you in the Gospel
«Whoever accepts my commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves me.» These words of yours, Jesus, echo within me. I am not perfect, you know that well. So many times I have sinned by throwing away your commandments; I have followed my passions without stopping to think if that was what you wanted from me.
Forgive me and help me start anew. You do not want me to get discouraged... you want, on the contrary, for me to love you, for me to never stop on the path of your love. You don't care if I fall, as long as I get up and keep seeking to love you. Give me the strength, Jesus, to never give up.
I know you love me, and that in everything you ask of me you're not seeking a whim or a way to bother me, but rather a way to help me live better, to be happy. Jesus, thank you for caring about me, grant me the grace to fulfill what you command me with a free and joyful spirit in response to the infinite love you have for me.
«Being Christian does not primarily mean belonging to a certain culture or adhering to a certain doctrine, but rather binding one's life, in every aspect, to the person of Jesus and, through Him, to the Father. For this, Jesus promises the outpouring of the Holy Spirit to His disciples. Precisely thanks to the Holy Spirit, the Love that unites the Father and the Son and proceeds from them, all of us can live the very life of Jesus. The Spirit, in fact, teaches us everything, that is, the only indispensable thing: to love as God loves.

This is the most important part of your prayer, prepare yourself to talk with much love with the One who loves you.

Propose a personal one. The one that involves the most love in response to the Beloved... or, if you believe that this is what God is asking of you, live what is suggested below.
