Preparatory prayer (to put me in the presence of God)
I come before you to speak with the confidence of a friend, with a son's glance towards his mother, with a brother's encouragement to play with his beloved brother. I want to talk to you even if I now find myself as a son seeking a father's forgiveness or as a lover asking, begging and waiting for the love he may have lost. However I am, today I want to talk to you.
Gospel of the day (to guide your meditation)
From the Holy Gospel according to Mark 1:21-28
At that time Jesus came to Capernaum, and on the next Sabbath he went to the synagogue and began to teach. The hearers were astonished at his words, for he taught as one having authority, and not as the scribes. And there was in the synagogue a man possessed by an unclean spirit, who cried out, “What do you want with us, Jesus of Nazareth? have you come to destroy us? I know who you are, the Holy One of God”. Jesus commanded him, “Be quiet and come out of him!” The unclean spirit, shaking the man violently and shrieking, came out of him. They were all astonished and wondered, “What is this? What new doctrine is this? This man has authority to command even unclean spirits, and they obey him.” And very soon his fame spread throughout Galilee.

Meditate on what God tells you in the Gospel
It is so simple how Christ speaks, but why are we often surprised when we do not understand Him?
If Christ has entered our life and we do not understand, it is because we have not finished assimilating what he wanted to teach us.
We can think according to human logic. This is why it is so complicated for the wise of this world to understand the law of love. When we do not understand the reason for joy and pain, for joy and suffering, it is because we think with earthly wisdom without putting ourselves on a supernatural level; at this supernatural level everything has an answer, everything has logic, but never according to human criteria.
Behold, when we set ourselves to love without measure, some are surprised by this new power, a power that is based on service, a power that God himself endorses. Love is the language that everyone can understand because of its simplicity.
Let us think... What do we boast of? Of our wisdom... of our power... of our capacities... What are we and what will we become with this logic? These are many questions that can be answered simply: God's teachings are rooted in the foundations of love. Who can understand it? Who can live it?
«Jesus is different from the teachers of his time: for example Jesus did not open a school dedicated to the study of the Law, but goes out to preach and teach everywhere: in the synagogues, in the streets, in the houses, always on the move. Jesus is also different from John the Baptist, who proclaims God's imminent judgment, while Jesus announces his Father's forgiveness».

This is the most important part of your prayer, prepare yourself to talk with much love with the One who loves you.
Purpose
Propose a personal one. The one that involves the most love in response to the Beloved... or, if you believe that this is what God is asking of you, live what is suggested below.
Today I will sincerely examine whether I think according to human or divine parameters.
