Thy Kingdom come!
Preparatory prayer (to put me in the presence of God)
Jesus, I thank You with all my heart for the love You have for me and for this moment that You are giving me to be with You. Increase my faith. Do not allow my faith to be a museum thing. Give me the grace to bear witness to my faith in your love and in your resurrection. Increase my confidence. Do not allow me to put my trust in anything or anyone before you. Increase my faith. May the experience of your love be so strong that I become a reflection of your love to others. Help me to hear your voice in this prayer.
Gospel of the day (to guide your meditation)
From the Holy Gospel according to Luke 17:11-19
At that time, as Jesus was on his way to Jerusalem, he passed between Samaria and Galilee. As he was near a village, ten lepers met him, and they stood at a distance and cried out to him, “Jesus, Teacher, have mercy on us. Seeing them, Jesus said to them, ”Go and show yourselves to the priests.“ As they went on their way, they were cleansed of leprosy. One of them, when he saw that he was cured, came back, praised God with a loud voice, fell down at Jesus” feet and thanked him. He was a Samaritan. Then Jesus said, “Were there not ten who were made clean? Where are the other nine? Has there been no one, besides this stranger, who returned to give glory to God?” Then he said to the Samaritan, “Get up and go. Your faith has saved you.”.
Word of the Lord
Meditate on what God tells you in the Gospel
Today I am shown the example of that cured leper who returned to thank you. Now I realize how many benefits I have received from you and how few times I have stopped to thank you.
I want to prostrate myself before you. Today I just want to thank you for everything you have given me, everything I have, everything I am... But most of all, for being who you are. I hardly ever stop to admire you, to fall to my knees and just gaze at your beauty. Thank you for being great... for being my Dad.
In my heart I have the leprosy of ingratitude that makes me insensitive to the caresses that you give me daily....
At least today, at least here, at least now, I ask you to heal me of this evil and allow me to experience the sweetness of your presence and the tenderness of your caresses.
Thank you, Jesus!
«Gratitude is a characteristic trait of the heart visited by the Holy Spirit; to obey God, we must first remember his benefits. St. Basil says: “He who does not let those benefits fall into oblivion is oriented toward good virtue and toward every work of righteousness.” Where does all this lead us? To do an exercise of memory: how many beautiful things God has done for each one of us! How generous is our Heavenly Father! Now I would like to propose to you a little exercise, in silence, that each of you answer in your heart. How many beautiful things has God done for me? This is the question. In silence, let each one of us answer: »How many beautiful things has God done for me?.

Dialogue with Christ
This is the most important part of your prayer, prepare yourself to talk with much love with the One who loves you.
Purpose
Propose a personal one. The one that involves the most love in response to the Beloved... or, if you believe that this is what God is asking of you, live what is suggested below.
Today I will seek to have a moment of prayer to thank Jesus for all that He has given me.
Farewell
Christ, our King!
Thy Kingdom come!
