Traveling the Holy Land by the hand of Abraham.

Migdal, Israel -Following the first virtual pilgrimage in October 2020, which was positively received, the Magdala team invites you to participate in the second virtual pilgrimage from the Holy Land, under the theme: Pilgrims in Faith. Journeying through the Holy Land hand in hand with Abraham.

From Monday, February 15 until Easter Sunday, an invitation was sent out to participate in an hour of pilgrimage - catechesis on the Creed in different holy places in the Holy Land. The Magdala team proposed the following program:

  • Introductory talks: Monday, February 15 and Tuesday, February 16.
  • Pilgrimage-catechesis: February 17 (Ash Wednesday) to March 27 (Saturday before Palm Sunday).
  • Easter Week: March 28 to April 4.
  • Conclusive talks: April 6, 7 and 8.

At 9 am (CDMX time) there will be a pilgrimage - daily catechesis. At 10 am Holy Mass will be celebrated. The catechesis, as well as the celebration of the Holy Eucharist will normally be given by Fr. Juan María Solana, L.C.

The logo of this new virtual pilgrimage was designed by the Chilean artist María Jesús Ortiz de Fernández, co-author of the Duc in Altum and the gardens and mosaic of Magdala.

The event will be broadcasted on Magdala's social networks (FB Magdala Spanish; YouTube Magdala experience, Terra Sancta Mexico) and on Magdala's official website: www.magdala.org. A similar program will be held in parallel in English. In addition to Magdala's official channels, the event will be shared by other TV channels or channels and social networks of various groups or associations that request it.

The pilgrimage is free of charge and registration can be done through the following link: https://bit.ly/2XUNqq1

Magdala would like to thank in advance those who would like to spontaneously make a donation to cover the expenses of this activity.

Magdala is the homeland of St. Mary Magdalene, facing the Sea of Galilee, in the heart of the places that witnessed the public ministry of Jesus Christ.
