As a response to this crisis, Familia Unida, a non-profit institution that offers family counseling and certifications, organized a series of four exhibitions. The objective is “to help a marital renewal that will have a positive impact on the harmony of families and society,” according to the organizers.
The first exhibitor was the P Adolfo Güémez, LC, who spoke about the four pillars that support marriage. He explained that the connection that occurs when the couple meets and falls in love, wears out, so you have to learn to reconnect.
The P. Guillermo Serra, LC He reflected on forgiveness, saying that it is one of the most difficult words to pronounce, that one must know a whole language of forgiveness and develop the ability to express what we feel.
For the P. Angel Espinoza de los Monteros, LC, He stated in his presentation that love is the most intense way of living, where he emphasized that the love of a couple is a virtuous trigger that is transmitted to their children and from there to society as a whole.
Finally, the P. Evaristo Sada, LC reflected on how it is possible to transform experiences of scarcity in marriage into experiences of abundance. He said that mistrust is an opportunity to generate a new relationship of trust to move from a continuous demand to a situation of understanding and respect that naturally leads couples to an environment of recognition and gratitude.
During the conferences, online counseling was provided to help couples reconnect in love and from love. This renewal can be accessed at the YouTube page of Fr. Adolfo Güémez, LC.
