We are called to go out to meet the needs of the world, to attend to the “existential peripheries” that are closer to us than we usually think; to listen and attend to the needs of our neighbor.
On our way to the General Convention 2024, which will take place from April 29 to May 4, The local phase (September 2023 to June 2023) and the territorial phase with its respective Territorial Conventions (July to December 2023) have already been completed. The enriching experiences have been many and varied, but with a common orientation: we are a family with diverse vocations called to work hard to extend the Kingdom of Christ.

Chile-Argentina Territorial Convention
From October 6 to 9, 2023, the Territorial Convention was held in the Chile-Argentina territory. The participants chose three themes to deepen: The life of the laity in Regnum Christi; marriage and family; living the vocation in an adverse world. And from these days of work six actions emerged. Territorial convention of northern Mexico
From October 9 to 11, 2023, Northern Mexico held its Territorial Convention under the theme «It's my turn, it also depends on me». Bishop Juan Carlos Arcq Guzmán, auxiliary bishop of Monterrey, presided over the closing Mass and in his homily emphasized how the Holy Spirit is the one who guides all the way if one knows how to be docile to his call; and prayed for God to grant everyone the grace to persevere in serving others. Territorial Convention of Spain
In the territory of Spain, the Territorial Convention was held in the city of Avila, from October 11 to 13, 2023. The outcome of these meetings showed the following three priorities: The promotion of contemplative and evangelizing communities; the elaboration of formative itineraries; the work with marriage and the family. Territorial Convention of Western and Central Europe
The city of Alzgern, Germany, was the venue for the meeting of delegates from the Western and Central European territory from October 18 to 22, 2023. Its three priorities are: Creating spaces for encountering Christ; building healthy, prayerful and missionary local communities; practicing a style of leadership that encourages lay participation and empowerment. Colombia-Venezuela Territorial Convention
The Colombia-Venezuela territory met from October 19 to 22, 2023, in the city of Medellin (Colombia). The common thread of those days was framed by the motto «That all may be one». From the conclusions of the territory, there was talk of insisting on the formation of the laity; that the common mission is a richness of the charism; the need to promote the formation of formators in depth with a common itinerary; the good of the family and marriage. Territorial Convention of Mexico and Central America
From October 26-29, 2023, the Territorial Convention of Mexico and Central America was held at the Casa Lago of the Mexican Episcopal Conference. The participants discerned on four themes: The lay member of Regnum Christi today; The formation of formators in the style of Jesus; Responding to the new pastoral challenges as a spiritual family and apostolic body; Living the mission from our Regnum Christi identity. Brazil Territorial Convention
Jundiaí, São Paulo, was the site of the Territorial Convention of Brazil, November 2-5, 2023. The four vocations of Regnum Christi gathered to discern on the following main themes: Lay identity and vocation; Youth; Marriage and family; Evangelization of culture; Vocation promotion and common mission; Economic sustainability of the territory. North American Territorial Convention
The North American territory held its Convention in the United States from November 2-5, 2023, with participants from Canada, the Philippines, South Korea and the United States. The themes chosen for reflection during those days were: Growing Regnum Christi; Evangelizing people and culture with the focus of our charism; Building relationships between Regnum Christi and institutions; Understanding and assimilating our Regnum Christi identity. Italian Territorial Convention
The Territorial Convention of Italy was held in Rome, November 17-19, 2023. The delegates met to discuss the following: The context of evangelization; The formation of the apostolic heart; The identity of the Regnum Christi layperson; The call and being a community of apostles. Read more.
Meeting of the Delegation of Rome
The Delegation of Rome held a thematic meeting on two occasions, one on November 18 and the other on November 25, 2023. The main theme of the meeting was: «The living of the charism of Regnum Christi in the Delegation of Rome and its contribution to the common mission», in which we sought to link ourselves to the process of common reflection towards the General Convention 2024.
Meeting of the Holy Land Delegation
The communities of the Holy Land met on December 5 as part of their participation in the territorial phase on the way to the General Convention, where they discussed the theme of living the charism of Regnum Christi in the Holy Land and its contribution to the common mission.
