On November 15, 2020, the general director of the Consecrated Sisters of Regnum Christi, Nancy Nohrden and one of her general councilors, Africa Pemán, visited the facilities of Mano Amiga Aguascalientes School, as part of a tour organized by the consecrated women of the Aguascalientes community to get to know the various works of Regnum Christi in the locality.
Also present during the visit were the territorial director of the Consecrated Women of the territory of Northern Mexico, Carmen Ramirez, Alejandra Bolio, director of the community of consecrated women of Aguascalientes and some consecrated women from this same community: Thalia Cervantes, Karina Uitz, Rocio Moreno and Martha Hernandez.
During her visit, Nancy Nohrden expressed her excitement and surprise. She commented that they would have loved to meet “all the people who are part of this beautiful institution” such as students, teachers and administrative staff, because “it is the people who make the works”.
“We thank the director of the Mano Amiga Aguascalientes school, Mapi Gómez, for having opened the doors wide to make this visit possible,” said the consecrated sisters.
Subsequently, on November 23, Mano Amiga Querétaro also received Nancy Nohrden, Elena Bartolomé and África Pemán, members of their entourage, accompanied by Conchita Samperio, director of the consecrated women in Querétaro.
During their visit, the consecrated women visited the school's facilities and the projects that are being carried out to continue offering an integral formation to all students and families. They exchanged best practices and ideas and listened to the testimony of some members of the institution, with whom they had the opportunity to talk. The exchange of ideas and the visits, undoubtedly meant for the Mano Amiga schools, a great support and confirmation of the union that all the works and apostolates of Regnum Christi have and of the esprit de corps that Mano Amiga has in order to achieve its motto: “Together Transforming Lives”, as well as the importance of the participation of the consecrated women in the formation within the schools and the support that they can offer in a continuous way.
