The ECYD is the charism of Regnum Christi lived by adolescents. This year, we are celebrating 50 years since the first adolescents adopted this lifestyle. For this reason, on October 13, the General Direction College of Regnum Christi sent a letter to the entire RC spiritual family to invite them to celebrate this gift given by God to his Church. The Jubilee will begin on the Solemnity of Christ the King 2021 and will last until the same Solemnity in 2022.
As a spiritual family in the Church, we recognize the action of the Holy Spirit and the gifts he gives us for the good of all. Looking back, we see that one of these gifts has been to have numerous adolescents who have listened to Christ's invitation to be his friends and apostles by living the charism of Regnum Christi according to their own age. The General Direction College concludes by inviting us to «rekindle each day our experience of personal encounter with Christ our friend and to continue to collaborate with renewed enthusiasm in his mission to make his Kingdom present in every heart.
The 50th Anniversary Logo
The covenant of friendship with Christ is at the heart of ECYD. That is why the 50th anniversary logo depicts Christ embracing the adolescent.
Christ our friend does not only go out to meet our adolescents. The sense of belonging to the ECYD transcends: whoever has belonged has felt part of a covenant that begins in adolescence but never ends.

Some activities will be proposed for Regnum Christi to which we invite everyone to participate. We hope that also as a territory you will find the best way to celebrate this important anniversary together with the different branches and sections of Regnum Christi, hoping that it will help to renew in the localities the support and impulse to the evangelization of adolescents through the ECYD.
