Remembering Graciela Magaña, Consecrated Member of Regnum Christi (1947-2020)Graciela Magaña Luna was born on December 20, 1947 in Tlazazalca, Michoacán, Mexico, being the second of twelve children of Mr. Neftalí Magaña and Etelvina Luna. She grew up in a family of deep faith, where she was always instilled with an upright conscience and love for God.

She came to know Regnum Christi through Fr. Carlos Mora, LC. In the summer of 1969, at the age of 21, she traveled to Mexico with her sister Guadalupe to join a small group of young women who were ready to give their lives to Christ. consecrated life in Regnum Christi.

After a year of studies at the formation center in Dublin, he received his first apostolic assignment to a school in Barcelona, Spain. In 1973 she arrived in Monterrey, N.L., Mexico. She was the first consecrated director of the CECVAC College where he spent 14 years.

In 2003, she participated in a month-long retreat and in September 2004 she was sent to the Pontifical Institute Notre Dame of Jerusalem Center, where he was dedicated to welcoming and accompanying pilgrims in the Holy Land for 14 years.

«Graciela was a gift to me during my stay in the Holy Land. Although we were about 30 years apart we managed to have a very close friendship and sisterhood. Graciela had a great capacity to listen and open her heart when she felt accepted and loved. She knew how to adapt and adapt to the circumstances that presented themselves with her serene and quiet presence. On September 24, 2018, having traveled to Mexico for health reasons, he was diagnosed with cancer that was already very advanced.

She lived in the community of Lomas Anahuac for the time that God granted her until March 5, 2020 when, by her wish, she moved to Tlazazalca where she went to the Father's house surrounded by her brothers and sisters on Saturday, March 21, 2020. Rest in peace!
