Camino a la Convención General del Regnum Christi 2024

What is the General Convention?
It is a Eucharistic, communitarian event, of union of each and everyone in the Body of Christ. It is about praying together, united in one faith and one mission. Finally, it is about receiving a Word from God about the needs of the Church and the world, with the intention of doing the will of the Father at this moment in history and from our charism.
A General Convention, as an event of the Spirit, always involves three actions: illumination, discernment and action. Seeing, judging and acting. It is about listening to one another and to the Holy Spirit. It is about being synod, about walking all together; each one according to his vocation.
What are the phases of this process?
La preparación de la Convención General se desarrolla en tres fases que van de lo local a lo territorial y, finalmente, a lo general. La fase local, pilar de la vida y misión del Regnum Christi, da comienzo en septiembre de 2022 y durará hasta julio de 2023. La fase territorial, como encuentro entre localidades y foro para afrontar asuntos comunes a todas ellas, se desarrollará en el segundo semestre de 2023 y concluirá con la celebración de las Convenciones Territoriales. La fase general culmina en la Convención General, que dará comienzo el 29 de abril de 2024 y, se estima, durará seis días.
Members of Regnum Christi, impelled by the personal experience of Christ’s love, feel the interior urgency of making present his Kingdom, giving witness to what we have lived and experienced, and seeking to respond to the needs of the world and the Church.
