The College offered a Mass for the members of the College's Medical Council and the doctors and nurses of Tapachula in light of the health contingency.
On May 13 at 10:00 am, in a live transmission via Facebook platform from the Chapel of the Cumbres Tapachula Institute, Holy Mass was offered, officiated by Pastor Sergio Alfonso Lopez Mendez, to commend the members of the Health Council, which is composed of parents of the school. Also prayed for the nurses and health workers, as well as for the parents who cannot stay at home and have to go out for work, exposing themselves to the risk of contagion.
The Director of Instituto Cumbres Tapachula, Mr. José Ignacio Castillo de la Cruz, addressed a message of gratitude to the workers of the Health Sector, and especially to the members of the School Health Council, explaining that this council was created at the beginning of the school year with the purpose of preventing crises within the school and providing health care and information to parents and school workers, with a social and moral commitment and with a great sense of charity for others.
The Health Council of the Cumbres Tapachula Institute is coordinated by Dr. Alfredo González Clavellina, with the participation of about 40 doctors, all parents of the school, who teach courses and, as a result of the COVID-19 contingency, offer advice, recommendations and remote medical support for the entire educational community.
