Javier Bendek Viera

He was born on August 22, 1982, in Santiago, Chile, and consecrated on November 28, 2009. He holds degrees in Civil Industrial Engineering and Bioprocess Engineering from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile and has studied philosophy at the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum and theology at Anáhuac University. He worked in the youth section of Regnum Christi in Santiago, Chile, served as the territorial director's delegate for apostolate in the territory of Chile and Argentina, and worked on the central commission for the review of the Statute and in the pastoral area of the Regnum Christi general direction. Since 2018, he has been a territorial counselor for the territory of Europe and Chile, since 2017 he has been the vice-rector of integral formation at Finis Terrae University, and since 2018, the delegate for educational centers in the territory of Chile and Argentina. He was elected fourth general counselor on February 12, 2020.
