José Antonio Lebrija Ruiloba

He studied at the Instituto Cumbres Mexico and later at the Universidad Anahuac. He was a member of ECYD and joined Regnum Christi in 1996. That same year he participated in the International Cursillo for formators in Rome. A few months later he was appointed team leader and two years later group leader. Since then, to date, he has maintained at least one of these two apostolates. He was assistant to Fr. Jesús Blázquez in the youth section for nine years. Since 2011 he has been actively involved in the section of señores of México Poniente. In June 2013 he was invited to the first Meeting of first and second degree representatives of Regnum Christi in Rome. Since then he has participated as one of the representatives of the lay members in the plenary meetings in Rome with the general governments of the consecrated branches in view of the General Statute of Regnum Christi. In February 2016 he participated in the territorial Convention of the laity of the territory of Mexico for the definition of its statute and in May of the same year in the international Convention. For the past three years he has been a member of the Steering Committee of Regnum Christi of the territory of Mexico and Central America. He has been married for ten years and has four children. Since September 15, 2019 he was appointed to participate in the General Plenary of Regnum Christi attending the General Directive College.
