Recently a short course “Called to Live Fully” was held for ladies of Regnum Christi in Colombia. Fr. Juan Carlos Durán, LC participated in it to spiritually assist the participants. The Regnum Christi communications office of the Colombia-Venezuela territory Juan Carlos Durán published the following testimony.
Throughout this Cursillo, as well as in the previous months, I was able to experience God's action that prepares us for the surprises that He Himself has prepared for us.
This Cursillo has been a space of renewal and reestablishment. Through it, God has been able to reestablish a certainty in Regnum Christi as a family through which the life and love of Christ passes. It was also a moment of renewal because of the opportunity I had to encounter views that I could see from my work as director or administrator, but without understanding the depth of this shared vocation.
Prior to this time, you can collaborate with a consecrated of the Regnum Christi At that moment the hand of God became evident, because the communion we experienced there transcended the criteria I had had until then and we were able to live as a family something that I had shared with a diocesan priest for some years: life in the Holy Spirit and the role of the priest as a channel for supernatural life.
One might think that as a priest this is what I was living, but all this was the beginning of a renewal that led me to the profound value of prayer, of communion and also to recognize certain mistakes that I can make as a director.
Praying as a family has been liberating, and knowing that one does not carry out the mission alone, as a manager; discovering the value of the consecrated women in the priestly ministry, and what to say about the laity, through whom God acts visibly and palpably. Therefore I feel that God seeks to heal my life and many personal situations, and is supported by the whole Regnum Christi, I think he also wants to do it in the lives of other people through the ministry that God entrusts to us. The Holy Spirit works and leaves his colors in our souls.
