In January 2005, NET held its first official meeting in Krakow, quickly extending its reach to other cities thanks to the dedication of the families.

The beginning of NET in Poland: a story of faith

In 2004, Krystyna Cempla and her husband attended a meeting for parents organized by the legionaries of Christ, who presented to them the charisma of Regnum Christi. Inspired by the mission and eager to contribute, they asked how they could help. «There is much toé make», I answeredthe legionnaires. It was so like suggested the idea of start with NET, a apostolate which combines spiritual formation with recreational activities for the children.

With limited resources and little initial knowledge, Krystyna took up the challenge. «We received materials from a family in the United States and went to a workshop in Germany, which marked the beginning of a fruitful collaboration. at the international level and also taking into account that I did not know yet the Regnum Christi, I got to know him at the same time as we began the apostolate.», he recalled. In January 2005, NET held its first official meeting in Krakow, quickly extending its reach to other cities thanks to the dedication of families like the Dziedzic, who transformed their home into a place of evangelization for the community.

For Krystyna, NET has been much more than an educational initiative. As a mother of five children, she noted how this experience shaped her family. «NET has been an endless source of joy and Catholic education. My children grew up here, and several of them became leaders in the program. One of them, Marceli, is even discerning his vocation as a Legionary of Christ novice in the United States».

Interaction between the different generations is another of NET's great achievements. During the celebration, many first-generation families attended with their children and grandchildren, whom they affectionately named «grandchildren NET». The connection between these generations, fostered by activities such as the prayer campaign, the «Adopt an older sibling» which consists of praying for a seminarian with first and last name, NET's mission of strengthening the faith and of seeking to be a community of apostles who pray for others.
