Rocio Vizcaino is originally from Uruapan, Michoacan. Since November 20, 1982, she has been consecrated of the Regnum Christi. This year 2022, on the eve of the Solemnity of Christ the King, he and the entire Regnum Christi Family celebrated 40 years of consecration to God.
Rocío celebrated with Holy Mass at the CECVAC International School, She recalled and thanked her parents, who accompany her spiritually from heaven, for the gift of having taught her to love God from a very young age.
She greeted her brothers and sisters who followed the mass on the internet, recognizing that she has had very good advisors in them and invited all the attendees to also celebrate Jesus who has been with her during these 40 years.
From this life of consecration, she can say with full assurance that Christ fills her heart and makes it bear fruit. He has known so many people through the ECYD, In the Regnum Christi localities and in the schools, and in his prayer he has no limit of time or place to pray for them.
Rocío currently carries out her apostolic work in the territory of Northern Mexico, in adult ministry and in personal accompaniment in the ladies' sections of Regnum Christi, the staff of the Kilimanjaro International School, to the mothers of the apostolate NET and COBU (Corazón Bueno, an apostolate for preschoolers), in addition to collaborating in the Proyecto Familia groups of United Family.
It was very meaningful for the Kilimanjaro educational community to be able to celebrate this anniversary with Rocio as they gathered to celebrate Christ the King. For her, parts of the loves of her life were reunited: Jesus and the mission land.
In Regnum Christi she has found a second family where she has grown in her relationship with Christ. She has never felt alone; God, who called her to consecrated life, has made himself present through her companions in community. Here she also learned to love the Church in a more concrete way and to attend to its needs.
For the future, she wishes to continue persevering to the end, valuing the Christ-centered spirit proper to Regnum Christi, living the challenges and novelties to come from God's Providence, and supported by her companions from various parts of the world who have enriched her greatly.
“I was very happy to see the affection of the people. When they congratulated me, they congratulated Jesus because we are both celebrating. He is also celebrated. Rocío Vizcaíno, a consecrated member of Regnum Christi.
