On May 12 and 13, the second Marriage Pastoral Day was held, organized by United Family addressed to local directors of Regnum Christi, legionaries of Christ, consecrated members of Regnum Christi and directors of adult education sections in the northern territory of Mexico.
The conference was held at the La Asunta retreat center in Aguascalientes, where attendees learned about new tools for working with couples and families.
Adolfo Güémez, LC, followed by the presentation of Familia Unida, the pastoral objectives in the territory and the mission of the apostolate.
In addition to Fr. Adolfo, presentations were made by Fr. José Miguel Bartolomé, LC; Fr. Juan Manuel Puente, LC; and the staff of the International Office of the United Family.
Diana Villarreal de Fernandez, international director of the apostolate, presented updates on the United Family programs, as well as the objectives and the range of possibilities for family formation in each locality and in the different stages of the family life cycle.
Father Adolfo presented the workshop: “RC Marriages, an activity to grow in marriage spirituality”. Father José Miguel presented a program for the accompaniment of people living a separation or divorce, and finally, Father Juan Manuel presented the Family United consulting centers, as a tool for the accompaniment of families.
