From March 10 to June 10 of 2025, the Basilica of San Giovanni dei Fiorentini to the setting for a transformative experience. The exhibition seeks not only to amaze with the history of the Shroud, but also to generate a space for dialogue between science and faith., a focus of the Regina Pontifical Athenaeum's mission Apostolorum, of the legionaries of Christ, that for more than a decade has been offering the Diplomado in Studies Syndonic. This interdisciplinary program delves into the historical, scientific and theological aspects of the Holy Spirit.It is also a tool for contemporary evangelization.

The inaugural event of the exhibition will be held on March 10, at 6:00 p.m. in the Basilica of San Giovanni dei Fiorentini, in Rome. The ceremony will be attended by leading experts and ecclesiastical authorities. with the following program:

  • 6:00 p.m. | Institutional greeting by the Rector Magnificent Fr. José Enrique Oyarzún, L.C. 
  • 6:10 - 7:00 p.m. | Conference: «The Holy Shroud, between science and faith».», Emanuela Marinelli, a renowned expert on the Shroud, and Fr. Rafael Pascual, L.C., Director of the Othonia Research Center. 
  • 7:00 p.m. : Blessing of the exhibition by H.E.R.H. Card. Baldassare Reina. 
  • 7:15 p.m. : Official opening and guided tour of the exhibition.
